I’m sorting our clothes again. Seems Sunday is a good day to sell stuff and I have £75 in my Vinted 🙀🙀 from selling large clothes - dresses and swim cossies from last week

it’s weird as rummaging the my massive wardrobe that I have found dresses that I haven’t even worn. So bnwt- many of then 18/20. One even xxxl which is apparently 20/22 and it obv didn’t fit me later on when wanted to wear them 🙀🙀😳😳

i got them. Gained weight. Didn’t fit. So never worn. Bunged in wardrobe and now they are all too big

it’s weird as I’m slightly saddened that I won’t wear some of these beautiful dresses

and cost so much money - sobs

yes great I’ve lost the weight but sad I won’t wear these lovely dresses

does that make sense

prob not

there are none similar to them on eBay or Vinted in my size - I’ve looked to see if could buy in a 12 instead of - 20

Hey, how are you all?

@Blondeshavemorefun yes it makes sense! I had some lovely clothes that I bought and never wore, due to getting bigger or I looked awful in them. I gave a lot away to the hospice shop my wee MIL friend is the manager of. So they did earn money for good. I have sold another couple of things this weekend too, its sad that people want something for feck all! It is what it is. £75 is amazing xx

morbidcuriosity · 25/05/2025 16:39

Just reading what blondes said.. I've seen similar before do had a quick Google. The pic, if it loads is women all 11 stone.. all different dress size and height, but weigh the same..

Quick question! Have finally got around to doing the hard twist to get the bonus dose. It worked fine, but does it give you the full dose?

Redlightbulb · 25/05/2025 23:23

Curate have just offered me 40% off my next pen as a welcome back.
They must be getting desperate. I guess the competition between the pharmacies is high.

Brings down the price of a 15mg pen to £129 plus delivery.
Annoyance would be having to submit photos again & then new photos with every new pen that I order if I continue to use them.
With IQ Doc I only needed to supply them at the start.

Wow thats an amazing deal! How long ago was it you ordered with them first time around?

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/05/2025 04:37

@morbidcuriosity that’s interesting as sounds similar to what I was saying but diff as yours is same weight. Mine was same size but different heights ans def wore blue jeans. Weird what the mind remembers

@Arraminta usually a little bit kore I find so .7 as I syringe is out - maybe get some syringes so know def how much

@Redlightbulb wow. That’s some incentive. Take it

it is annoying doing photos again. Unless they ask for a date stamped one can you sneakily use the pics you used for last chemist

Hi all. Hope everyone is having a nice bank holiday.

im still maintaining which is good. Fluctuate a few pounds here and there but sticking around the same weight.

just jabbed another 5mg. Hunger has definitely settled now. Going to see how this week goes and maybe do one more week of 5 mg then drop down to 2.5 maybe the week after.

well done on your sales @Blondeshavemorefun

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/05/2025 15:44

Well done for maintaining @owlyboo

Ordered from Curate. Can't really turn it down at that price.
The offer is only for today. Never seen it that cheap before for a 15mg pen & worked out slightly cheaper than I thought.
£131 including delivery.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/05/2025 21:46

Excellent price

thread is really really quiet. Where is everyone

Weepixie · 27/05/2025 04:38

@Blondeshavemorefun hi, I’m here. I’ve just been more busy than usual on granny duties. Not that I’m complaining, I love it.

Im due for another injection tomorrow and doubt the scales will show a change as Im on new medication for my bladder problem and whilst im no longer up 4 or so times a night for a wee-wee, constipation is one of the possible side effects and I’ve got it. What should I take for it pls?

Well done to anyone who’s had a loss and just keep on keeping on to those who haven’t. 😊

I contacted my supplier yesterday to ask if buying a bundle of 3 pens would save me money apart from the little bit of discount they offer already - it just struck me that 3 pens perhaps could be included in the huge courier charges for the same price as one. But we’ll see. They may indeed make a difference in the weight of the parcel that means no savings are made but that’s ok if it’s the case.

So that would be my last 3 pens and would take me to the start of September when I’m hoping to never have to use another one. I’ve never wanted to be at what’s considered a normal BMI because I don’t believe in it - I’ve exercised for years and it involves lifting weights and BMI doesn’t account for that.

In my head I’m 3.5 kilos away from my first target of 85kgs and 6.5 kilos away from what could be my second target. I have my Dexa scan tomorrow and will know more then.

Maintenance I’m not planning on apart from going down doses till I’m not on anything and I’m looking forward to moving on from Mounjaro to the next stage in my life. I know it’s going to be interesting so to speak 😆 but it’s how I want to do it.

Azuresky68 · 27/05/2025 07:09

@Weepixie. Good luck with everything. I have used fibre gummies to 'stay regular' and in bad cases I have used Lactulose which is available over the counter and online at around £8. It has a fairly big effect though so be careful on timing!

Azuresky68 · 27/05/2025 07:12

@morbidcuriosity well done! The maintenance call will be fine. I have had two calls with Hira and as Blondes says Hira is lovely.

Azuresky68 · 27/05/2025 07:14

@Weepixie. I replied about constipation and what I have used but the post has been hidden until MNHQ looks at it. Must be because I mentioned over the counter medication?

I had a little break over the weekend. Ordered 3 really nice strapless dresses from Vinted and a pair of white M&S jeans. With p&p an item at £1 comes to around £4. Spent about £18 in total.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I am curious to know:

Who is at or near maintenance?

Who is still with us in out lovely Auggie group?

Of the people on maintenance are you going to keep checking in sometimes to keep ourselves on the right road. The thought of maintenance is a bit scary 😨 and I could do with this group continuing!

Have a good week xx

eeeeeeeee · 27/05/2025 09:09

Hi, not sure if anyone remembers me from the old threads! I have been struggling with something and wonder if anyone feels similar.

I reached a healthy BMI last year, then lost a bit more as a buffer. My BMI is around 20.5 now.

However my body constantly fluctuates. Never really stays a consistent silhouette. Sometimes my stomach is flat, other days it bulges out as if I’ve put weight back on (I haven’t - weight generally stays within the same kg).

My diet is ok and I exercise regularly (both cardio & resistance). I was this weight my entire life until 2022-3 so to a certain extent I was able to maintain it before.

I don’t really know how to address this? Just feels like my body is out of whack. I wonder if it’s cycle related even.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/05/2025 09:25

@Weepixie granny duty is good - lactulose or prunes

you are near your first target

@Azuresky68 she is so lovely and so pretty. I think I have a girl crush

pretty dresses !!

I get that with Vinted that most things going to be £5 by the time added on postage

that’s why I do bundles of dresses /tops 3/4 so one postage. But yes the dresses may be £10 but that’s only £2.50/3 each and seem to sell quickly like that

@eeeeeeeee one of our oldies. Wow at 20 bmi. Can’t imagine that. Well done

guess weight and body shape will diff as we get okder. How old are you ?

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/05/2025 09:25

good question @Azuresky68

tech I am at goal of bmi but for me want to lose another 4lbs to get to 11s so have leeway of few lbs

def gonna keep checking in as love our group and the support but also don’t want to get back to a ‘whispers’ FF 😛

plus still those who aren’t ar goal ans need our support

@Blondeshavemorefun oh thank you! Congratulations to you too.

I’m in my 20s so hope aging isn’t a key factor! But could be in denial lol

poppym12 · 27/05/2025 10:24

I'm still here 👋. Today I've finally dropped into the 70s (kg). I'm finding it all a bit of a slog at the moment tbh.

Finished my 12.5 pen on Saturday but I'd used it as 15mg for 3 of the doses. I'll start my 15mg pen in Friday (a day early as away for the weekend and don't want to take it with me).

I suppose I ought to start thinking about where I'd like to end up now. I'm thinking I should try to lose another stone (at least) but it's so slow these days I'm getting fed up.

Also really uncomfortable with the precancerous skin treatment.

Really pleased to hear so many of you are where you wanted to be and even maintaining. Very well done.
