@Glittermoonlight so sorry to hear of your sad loss. Pets leave such a gap when they leave us.

Well done on all the losses everyone. I’ve sts or maybe gone up slightly but as long as I’m not above 9st4 it’ll be a win!

I jabbed 2.5mg on Tuesday as I’d not jabbed for nearly 3 weeks. Suppression is ok, I need to find some lovely summer veggie recipes to keep on track.

I’m sat in the garden with a beer and enjoying the sun. My shorts are a 16 with a hairband on the waistband and a new vest top in a 12, which appears to be gaping!

Did I tell you that I nearly passed out at blood donors. I carried on bleeding and bruised badly and could feel myself about to go. Possibly due to the weigh loss as never happened before. Was the start of a very bad week but I’m feeling much better today and hoping I continue to do so.

PoemsForTea · 10/05/2025 17:33

Sending a bosomy hug to you @Glittermoonlight

poppym12 · 10/05/2025 18:08

I'm sorry to hear about your loss @Glittermoonlight. After my last animal died about 5 or 6 years ago, I decided never again. I love animals but the pain of their loss is awful. I hope you're ok.

Back from my holiday and I'm feeling so huge. I've just done my first 15mg jab as 12.5 was rubbish for me. I'm really going to have to be strict and get back on track.

Glittermoonlight · 10/05/2025 18:37

Thank you so much for your kind words @Azuresky68 @Usernamechangeforthis12 @PoemsForTea & @poppym12 - it’s been a very sad day, she was part ragdoll & literally used to follow me everywhere. I’m glad she’s not suffering though, house seems so quiet.

Well done on everyone’s weight loss this week.

SilverSprings510 · 10/05/2025 19:32

Evening ladies - late to post today as went out last night and been soaking up the sun today with mini silver. Lost a pound this week taking me to -6st6lbs/-90lbs/-40kg 🙌🏼 will be doing my last jab tomorrow so will stay on the group and hold myself accountable with weigh ins every week - hope you don’t mind!

Weigh ins: -7, -5, -3, -2, -5, -5, -1, -3, -1, -4, -1, -4, -2, -5, -0, -2, -1, -2, -3, -2, -1, -3, -1, -3, -2, -2, -2, -2, -3, -1, -4, -4, +2, -2, -1, -1, -0, -1 ✨

owlyboo · 10/05/2025 19:46

Yeah I think you’re right @Blondeshavemorefuni think the two weeks was fine in the higher doses as still lots in my system. I don’t want to go back up so hoping if I stick at five for a few weeks it’ll help to balance things 🤞

@NippyNinjaCrabits just a fitness measure. It can be done in labs which is obviously much better than through a fitness watch but judging by Google it’s still a good indicator and usually pretty accurate.

@FurForksSakebeing slimmer definitely helps with exercising it’s just so much easier which takes away one of the barriers!

well done @Arramintahope you had fun!! And we should definitely all be proud!

so sorry to hear that @Glittermoonlightjusy so horrible but well done for making the right decision for her.

glad you had a few fun weekends @Azuresky68definitely weigh soon as it’ll set a good precedent for the future to stay on track.

@poppym12hope you had a lovely time. I’m sure the scales will be fine!

well done on the loss @SilverSprings510and definitely stick around!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/05/2025 20:17

@Azuresky68 bite the bullet and weight. You may surprise yourself and not weighing/knowing is only really cheating /fooling yourself

you say it’s flexible but can you literally swap month to month and if so why isn’t everyone doing that ?

@Usernamechangeforthis12why 9/4 is that your top limit for weight _are you maintaining ?
Bless you at donating blood - had you eaten before ?

@poppym12 hope 15 works for you

well done @SilverSprings510 on lb

course stay in the group. I hope all will even when stop jabbing to see how they do maintaining

Azuresky68 · 10/05/2025 20:31

@Blondeshavemorefun well I guess they are only going to accept people on maintenance when they are near to their goal which is what I discussed on my call. My goal was 9 stone then but I changed it to 8 stone 7 pounds. It makes sense to keep you as a maintenance customer as you aren't going to be shopping around for pens as not all suppliers have a maintenance programme. Worth having the appointment booked in my opinion. You are right about weighing.. I might brave the scales on Monday!

Glittermoonlight · 10/05/2025 21:04

Congratulations @SilverSprings510 90lbs loss is an incredible achievement, you must be so happy. I’ve forgotten who has posted before & after photos, if you haven’t would love to see them if you felt up to it. Please let us know how you get on.
Thank you @owlyboo - it’s definitely been a very sad day.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/05/2025 21:19

How close to goal do you need to be @Azuresky68to do a call for maintenance

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 10/05/2025 21:47

Evening!

I am regretting my life choices today or my food choices. I ate some crisps, well cheese savouries and finished off the packet. Something I haven’t done in along time. We then had McDonald’s as a treat. I haven’t had takeaway foods for quite a while and no McDonald’s for months. I had four chicken selects and some cheese bites. They are not sitting well at all.

I did drag son out for a walk, only 1.5 miles as I’ve got a dodgy hip; but it was some movement.

WorriedRelative · 10/05/2025 23:13

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/05/2025 15:56

What did you have with the prawns @WorriedRelative. I don’t know what to eat with it

It was the Thai green curry prawns on Friday with some rice and mini bhaji

Azuresky68 · 10/05/2025 23:39

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/05/2025 21:19

How close to goal do you need to be @Azuresky68to do a call for maintenance

I don't know ...from what I know you can book a call when you are planning maintenence..don't think there is a specific weight. Just checked and had my maintenance call in December when I weighed 9 stone 8 My goal was 9 stone but I changed it. to 8 stone 7 pounds

Timetochange24 · 11/05/2025 07:11

@Blondeshavemorefun I had my maintenance call in March when I was about 3kg away from my original target weight. We discussed that I was thinking about a lower target, so I might not actually start maintenance for a couple more months, and that was fine.

I hit my target weight of 64kg this week (bmi 25). That felt completely unachievable last year so I didn't think about aiming any lower. But I still feel bigger than I'd like to be so I'm going to keep going to get to 60kg/bmi 23.4 before moving on to maintenance.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/05/2025 08:42

Well done for getting to normal bmi @Timetochange24

i will look @Azuresky68 to see when times are free

@FurForksSake a bit of chicken and cheese balls and crisps isn’t the end of the world

@WorriedRelative. Thanks. Think needs to be rice

i had pesto prawns with spaghetti. Was ok but didn’t fancy pasta really

Morning ladies. I took your advice and braved the scales! I weighed in at 8 stone 13 pounds. That was a pleasant surprise after not been strict for ages. This is what I weighed on 28th February. 2 holidays, a couple of social weekends ( only a couple of lagers in the pub and a glass of wine or two over dinner) and a couple of weeks being ill and barely eating has slowed my progress. As my original goal was 9 stone you could say I have maintained on 10 mg BUT I really want to lose another 6 pounds to get me to 24 BMI. Back to being strict for a while although I have my daughter's hen do next week and the wedding in June. I am not planning on drinking at those two events! I think the only way to go is to cut out alcohol again which is what I have been doing most of the time during weight loss but I took the brakes off the last couple of months. Happy Sunday everyone.

Azuresky68 · 11/05/2025 08:52

@Blondeshavemorefun have you tried cauliflower rice? I think you can get it frozen at Asda

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/05/2025 08:53

Yep. It’s rank 😂😂😛😛

Azuresky68 · 11/05/2025 08:55

@Timetochange24 well done on getting to original target. As you will read on my post I felt pretty much the same as you so I am still hoping to lose 6 more pounds. Good luck and best wishes

Morning, I've nothing to add weight loss wise apart from tmi poo and it's enormity 😆

I'm just going to jab, i forgot. My ebay dresses arrived last night and I'm going to open them now. My neighbour has complained about knob dog and how he barks and howls when we arrive home! I know for a fact they don't bark when I am out because i have a dog cam. It was more a moan and comment without properly engaging with me so I'm pissed off at that. I do everything I can to keep him quiet. I am living with my blinds down at the front of the house so he can't see out, i can't allow him in the garden to freely roam in case he barks or the 2 boys play now. They are noisy players. I feel anxious now, I've been a really good neighbour, I keep myself quiet and go about my business. Ive done a lot for her and her family with nothing in return and wouldn't expect anything. My other neighbour next to her says people need to look in before they look out. Made sense. DH goes away tomorrow but its only 4 nights. I want to speak to her and ask why she can't just speak to me but DH said no, just don't engage at all and keep the big boy calm. Sigh, xxx

Weepixie · 11/05/2025 10:20

That sounds like a difficult situation Ninja and I agree with your husband not to speak to her but at the same time your husband works away a lot and it’s not him who’s having to try and keep the dog calm. Can you get a dog behaviouralist in to see if this can be sorted so you’re not living on tenterhooks at times.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/05/2025 11:47

Knob boy should be allowed in his garden but he shouldn’t bark at everything

my friend used an air can to squirt when dog was doing things didn’t want to do
