Sharps bins for mounjaro

My sharps bin from Med Express is full and they’ve said they don’t provide another one or have any facilities for disposal of this one. Would appreciate advice on how others manage this

You can prise it back open with a screwdriver. One of mine got closed during transport.

Thanks! I’ll be trying this

@oatmilkisntsobadmonj.co.uk will show you a list of pharmacies you can order from. Be aware voy is a subscription service so check out what that involves and if that isnwhat you are looking for, they are also one of the more expensive providers unless you get codes/referrals.

Very useful to have this. Thank you

Pharmacy2U send a sharps bin every month. So annoying and such a waste. They also send the pen in a huge box with ice packs wrapped in a woolly blanket thing. Totally over the top.

I thought the suppliers had to help you.

Back to Saxenda days I remember getting the first of the olive green sharps box and then the council said they wouldn’t collect due to colour had to be yellow (at that time as I notice the olive green getting in everywhere now) and I remember contacting London Slimming Clinic who said post it, in the end I found a workaround so I didn’t have to post it and got the council to drop me one of those 22 litre yellow big bins - nearly coming to full 2 years on! 🤣

Thanks all. I managed to get my gp to email the council who then agreed to collect the bins. Was a huge faff though!
