Week 3, I'm now around 79kg. At home I've been eating the following:
Roast chicken (I buy one and cut it up for the next 4 days), green olives, plain greek yoghurt, babybels, tea, black coffee, ginger cordial, cherry tomatoes, spinach, ginger kombucha, apples, unsweetened peanut butter, bananas, oats, cauliflower soup, pickled cauliflower, eggs, quiche. Food costs now about £25 a week! 😲
All these foods are "safe" - no indigestion or side effects. Some other things I ate earlier on really did seem to make me feel vomitous: haggis, baked beans, bread, milk, so I'm just going with it. The Juniper coach suggested I add in a green smoothie and some protein, so I've bought some collagen powder to add in to coffees/porridge. It felt... strange - I used to buy it for my husband when he was alive, to keep him hale in hospital. I've also bought some chia seeds for fibre and added to my bircher oats, and put some mixed seeds on the table to sprinkle over anything I'm eating to add variety.
Socialising, I've been eating whatever, just less, so I've also eaten a burger, curry etc. It doesn't seem to upset my tummy but I just get SO full I can't really MOVE. Literally I lay down on the floor groaning after my burger while my friend laughed at me. As if I'd feasted for days! So far still no effect on wine for me.
I do still feel really really tired, but I'm also going through a very stressful work transition at the moment so I can't disambiguate the two. I'm forcing myself on a hilly march every other day, but it's a big effort to get off the sofa. My activity has dropped since starting.
