I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's results or journeys so far. Where you are with the injections, your weight vital stats, lifestyle and NSVs? I'd love to see results from people of a similar age, height or starting weight.

Something like this completely made up example:

Week 5, Day 5, 5mg
52 years old, 5ft 5.
Side Effects: Headaches, constipation but suffer with those anyway.
SW 16st CW 15st 2lb GW 13st
Lifestyle: No calorie-counting, do 16:8 and aim for 80g protein. One spin class a week.
NSV: Dress size was 20 now 18.

I've been on Mounjaro for just shy of a year. I'm 39, 5ft 10/11

SW 15st 10
GW 12st 5
CW 11st
Went from size 18 to a size 10/12
I've lost 14 inches from my waist, 12 from my bust and 13 from my belly.
I forgot to measure other bits but everything is smaller including my feet!!

I can walk for miles without being exhausted, I can wrap a towel around me again, I have amazing COLLARBONES !!
I've lost my ass and my neck is wrinkly but I'd do it all again, so grateful that MJ has helped me get back to a healthy weight.
I'm maintaining in 2.5 dose. My weight fluctuates right up to 11st 6 but never gets past that now so I'm happy.

Well done on your achievements too OP 💪

Started at size 18 and am wearing 12's now
Still have a small muffin top in some great jeans I want to wear, so need some more toning, but wore a bikini on holiday recently and wasn't uncomfortable. Holiday was all inclusive but still didn't put on weight despite eating cake and drinking alcohol 😊

Thyroid function improved, reduced medication

Very few side effects, burps when I don't eat enough. One dodgy stomach for a few days when I went up to 3.75mg. Minor rash on stomach when I was injecting there, moved to thigh and no issues since. A bit tired at times but worked out that is on days I've not eaten enough

InfoSecInTheCity · 28/03/2025 16:10

Week 29, 10mg (stayed on 5 mg for a while, this is my 2nd week on 10mg)

GW: 141 lb (10st 1lb)

No side effects other than occasional nausea/reflux in night if I've eaten too much or something greasy.

21lb down.

SilenceInside · 28/03/2025 16:17

Side Effects: none for ages
SW 21st 12lb
CW 14st 5lbs
GW 10st 4lbs

SW: 15st 9.8lbs
GW: 9st 10lbs
CW: 13st 12.9lbs

1st 10.9lbs lost in 8 weeks.

On week 9 day 2 and my second 5mg pen.

Only side effect is being cold (less fat, so it makes sense).

SevernWonders · 28/03/2025 17:28

Age 55, 5'8", 10 months on Mounjaro
SW 18 stone
CW 11 stone 8
TW unsure - maybe another stone to take me well into healthy BMI

Mounraine · 28/03/2025 17:43

(I think feeling cold is due to your metabolism responding to the reduced calorie intake. It’s not Mounjaro-specific).

No side effects other than occasional nausea/reflux in night if I've eaten too much or something greasy.

21lb down.

Sorry forgot to say 48 years old and 5'6". Started 15 stone 4lb, goal between 101/2 and 11 stone

TheChosenTwo · 28/03/2025 21:56

Week: 21 day 6
40, 5ft 8
Side effects: permanently cold, constipation (normal for me anyway), quite a lot of hair loss.
SW 16st CW 12st GW not sure!
Size 18 to size 12.
Lifestyle: I don’t calorie count, eat as much unprocessed foods as possible within the boundaries of living a normal life, eat 2 meals a day, carbs once a day. Pretty much alcohol free (again normal for me even when not on MJ). Walk a lot, swim a lot and have a spin bike at home that gets a lot of use.
NSV: feel so much healthier, bp now normal, generally more energetic, fitting into chairs without busting over the sides or worrying I’m too heavy for it, face looks fresher, being able to buy clothes I love and not just what will fit. PCOS symptoms have receded and I’m having regular cycles for the first time in my entire life since being a teen.

lovinglaughingliving · 28/03/2025 22:11

age: 34
height: 5ft 3
32 weeks (& counting…) on Mounjaro.
start weight: 15.13
current weight: 10.6
goal weight: 9.8
clothes size at start: 18
clothes size now: 10/12
lifestyle before: lots of takeaways, binges, eating my emotions, not really moving much.
lifestyle now: no calorie counting, eat when I’m hungry, only until im comfortably full, and always 100g protein a day and 3.5L of fluids a day. lots of things I just can’t eat. Started boxing just recently, walk much more, have a walking pad and exercise bike too.
Side effects: sulphur burps at times, diarrhoea when I eat things I shouldn’t and vomiting when I drink alcohol. All totally manageable.
plan never to come off MJ but to find a maintenance dose when I’m at goal.

No I've not noted any grumpiness on MJ

bsaptimdaenr · 29/03/2025 08:41

Grumpy? No. If anything it’s improved my mood massively. I realise the majority of that is the weight loss and regaining some of the physical ability I lost, but even in the early days of using it my mood was hugely improved.

BeckiP85 · 29/03/2025 08:53

Week 42
Age:39
Height: 5ft8in

DGonMJ · 29/03/2025 09:03

Week 12, Day 7 - 5mg
46 yrs old
5ft 5
Side Effects: Occasional dry mouth. Tiredness if I don’t eat enough.
SW 79.6kg
CW 66.6kg
GW 62.5kg
Lifestyle: Track calories 12-1500 a day, aim 100g protein, 20-30mins cardio on peloton bike x3 p/week, strength training x3 p/week.
NSV: I’ve stuck to my exercise routine in 12 weeks. Fit into my old Levi’s bought 12 years ago. Feet/ankles don’t hurt when I get out of bed in the morning. Less mood swings. Reduced coffee intake, have saved a fortune on takeaway coffees (will be redirected into facials to save my poor aging face).

Buddysno1fan · 29/03/2025 14:32

Week 27, 3.75mg (I tried going up to 5mg on week 5, lots of side effects, nausea, diarrhoea, heartburn, so I went back to 2.5mg which I had no problem with and now on my 5th dose of 3.75)
Age 48, plan to be fit at 50
Height 5ft 3
SW 15st 11 (bmi 38)
CW 12st 12 (bmi 32) losing 1-2lb a week
GW 9-10st (10 stone gets me into healthy bmi range)
Plan, I track calories on my fitness pal but not strictly, trying to allow “bad” days and the reign in to make up so still eating out and going out drinking. Still avoiding exercise, I need to get into a good routine as it’s hard to motivate myself.
NSV pre-covid jeans are too big, wearing size 14 with a belt. Just been on holiday and walked around the town in shorts without getting chub rub! Apparently I have cheekbones and just one chin.

Minecraftvsroblox · 29/03/2025 15:42

May I ask where do you buy your injections from?

Minecraftvsroblox · 29/03/2025 15:46

@Buddysno1fan bless you my son is counting my chins he says one, two and then rubs my belly. He's only 10 he makes me laugh. I will miss the humour I had from my heavy size. I can't continue like this I have to lose the weight.
