Mounjaro March 2025 Starters

So my first mounjaro delivery has arrived and is waiting for me when I get home!

I'm nervous and excited to start. I think I'm going to jab Wed night as I WFH on Thursdays, so if I'm not feeling great I'm in the comfort of my own home. I also hear that the effects may wear off and I really don't want that to happen around the weekend period so hopefully this should be fine.

SW & CW : 209lb
TW: 140lb

Anyone else just starting out?

Hi everyone. I've started Mounjaro today. I currently weigh 88.9kg and hope to get down to 65kg, ideally before I turn 50kg in July. Happy to join this group.

Just taken my first injection of Mounjaro 2.5mg. I weigh 108kg, would like to get to around 95kg - 98kg.

Feel very scared at possible side effects especially after watching Channel 4's Dispatches but feel that I owe myself the chance, especially as I've weighed myself tonight at SW at put another pound on, it's a continual 3lbs off 2lbs on, 1lb off 2lbs on cycle I can't get away from.

I've lost 1st 10lb altogether on SW but hoping this gives me the boost I desperately need quicker. Plan to give it 3 months and start weaning off.

Hello. Crikey, haven’t been on Mumsnet for 11 years since I got scared away, but am back as your support thread looks brilliant. I’ve had my Mounjaro hidden at the back of the fridge for days now, and am scared to take it! Haven’t told DH (as not so D) and worried that I’m going to have some kind of terrible reaction. Also am a bit hungover and my tummy is a bit dodge so thinking I should wait til later. Any advice for DAY ONE?

I was the same but I've been alright with no side effects at all.
