Hi @TheZingyFish the thing I noticed was that I wasn’t interested in the sweet stuff. I think some of it was probably new-diet bounce but what I noticed was that even if I was a bit hungry I didn’t really care about it. I definitely had a smaller appetite and stayed full for longer.
Since I started I’ve kinda stopped the vast majority of snacks. I have some crunchy seaweed or a miso soup. I make things to take for lunch and don’t buy sandwiches, and I’ve not had cakes or biscuits. Apart from when I went out for tea, but that was planned and was a meal! It’s just making it easier to make more considered choices I suppose - I don’t get that uncontrollable urge to plunder the cupboard. And since it costs money I don’t want to waste that or balls it up. The cost is a powerful incentive!
But when I went up to 5mg that was when I noticed the full appetite suppression and it’s unreal! No desire at all to eat! it’s extraordinary, I mean totally unreal and unbelievable!
The other thing is that my blood sugars are SO well controlled! And that’s a great bonus.
Now I wish I hadn’t left it so long!
