Hello,

I'm disgusted with my size. I'm on medication for bipolar and HRT for premature menopause all of which has caused me to gain weight.

Just ordered monjarou and I'd love some advice and tips and if anyone else is starting next week and wants to be buddies.

After the first 4 weeks do I move up a dose?

Good luck. You can move up if you want to or stay the same if it’s working.

Not sure if you have seen them, but there are usually monthly threads for those starting together to support each other and have a little community and share experiences.

There is also a >5st to lose thread which is popular for those who have a bit more to lose.

Whether you move up after 4 weeks (or 5 weeks if you use the 5th dose) should be up to you depending on how you react to the medication. Most pharmacies are patient led and allow you to choose, the subscription type pharmacies might automatically send you the next dose up after 4 weeks so keep and eye out and let them know if you want to stay on the same dose.

Good luck with your journey!

My advice is to read the instruction leaflet carefully. You will also find helpful YouTube videos that show you how to prepare the pen and take the injection.
You will find lots of advice and encouragement here, but also some strong opinions that have no particular basis. Go by the manufacturer’s instructions, cut down your food intake, move more, and MJ should help a lot.

Thank you so much for your replies! Really excited. Plan to eat healthy and exercise daily... Got a wedding I'm maid of honour at in October and the thought of my current body being there is not good.
