I gave signed up and am now waiting for the blood test to arrive. I'll post updates on here so you will know if it is reputable or not. Hope it will help others.

I moved away from Shemed when prices went up. Not on £99 plan. Still managing to lose (slowly) on 2.5mg from 5mg pen, and pretty much at goal now.

i moved to swift as they said i can take a break and restart.

I wish I used gold doses from the start too. Haunts me thinking how much of this magic expensive drug I have thrown away in the last 9months 🙄

I know that’s 9 weeks or in my case 8 weeks worth of magic I’ve missed.

I had a slight headache yesterday similar to when stepping up on MJ. No nausea or sickness which is good. The food noise is lingering a bit in the background but no more than usual. Interestingly, I cooked pasta bolognese for tea, gave myself a fairly decent portion but I managed less of it than when on MJ. I also slept really well last night, could be coincidence. I lost 2.8lbs in the last month on MJ so hoping that I start to lose a bit more now.

How is everyone else finding Wegovy? The Facebook group seems to be about 70/30 split between putting on weight and losing it.

Across my 4 Wegovy jabs I've lost 1kg, which was about the same as I was losing on my last 7.5mg pen.

The 'fullness' experience is very similar, but I will say there is more 'snack gremlin' chatter in the back of my head, so a little more "Are you sure you really want this?" type self control needed. Mounjaro was really magical on the the suppression side, but now I'm thinking that wegovy may be a good way to remind me how 'real life' goes once the medication stops. I might be slower to lose, it might get me back into the 'choosing to eat right' mindset, rather than the "chocolate, meh" mindset that mounjaro gave me.

What dose are you on @kittykarate? I'm starting on 1mg.

@BestDIL my first pen was 0.5mg, my next one is 1mg.

So I've just taken my second Wegovy 1mg jab this morning.

I feel like I've plateaued across the last month, but now I look closer, it's really just that I've been so close to my target (getting into overweight rather than obese territory) that it's been frustrating my losses have slowed down.

Last week I had my period which always seems to stall me a bit, and this week I've been trying to eat lower carb - not very strictly, but just avoided too much starchy stuff. And I've lost 1.8kg this week, meaning I AM NOT OBESE ANYMORE! Still nearly 2 stone before I'm officially BMI normal, but I'm over the moon :)

Experience on Wegovy has been the same as Mounjaro tbh, not noticed anything different at all, other than weirdly the 10mg MJ seemed to give me the most food noise which has died down now. Also the actual injection stings a bit, but I'm sure that's more user error than anything else!

I’m about 1st from target so 7-8kg in new money. Just bought some size 12 jeans on Vinted and I can get into them and do them up. They are a bit tight. Need that extra stone off and then they’ll fit perfectly.

Every so often when I realise that I can get into something smaller I go and try everything on that has been too small. It’s such an ego boost.

Vinted has been my go to for clothes and I said it was for the interim sizes but I don’t think I can face paying full price for clothes now I know I can pick up a pair of jeans for under a tenner including postage!

@LazyArsedMagician and @BestDIL and i@kittykarategrrst to hear your experiences. I think I may downgrade to Wegovy once nearer target but realistically a way to go for me still. Like at least another 15kg. Still on MJ for next 2-3 months and will see what prices are like then. Did you all stay with SheMed &99?

I am with Numan 10mg MJ and just ignoring SheMed messages. Their prices are ridiculous.
It is great to think of Wegovy as a maintenance or down step option so I will keep this in mind.

Inhave lost 5.5stone now so expect losses to be slower now. It’s been 2kg this month so 0.5kg a week. On that basis it will be more than 6months to get to my target but I am not putting in the exercise effort right now and expect that would boost things.

Hi @Reginaphalangeeeee. I’ve just taken my second WG jab this morning. I gained 0.4lbs last week but I’m cool with that. Looking at some of the Facebook posts, I’ve done alright. I’m still with SheMed on £99 and will stick on this to the end. Because I used the golden dose on my last MJ pen, I’m a week behind so filled in refill questionnaire this morning. Fastest turnaround ever and I’ve been out up to 1.7mg for my next pen.

I’d not realised just how rough I was feeling on MJ. It’s quite brutal I think. I’ve felt more normal this week and actually felt hungry one day. First time that’s happened since January!!

Just over a stone for me to target. I’ve lost 3st 9lb on MJ and I’d lost 1st on Orlistat and a bit more before that so total loss for me is 5st 4lbs.

Have started buying size 12 which is my goal. They’re a little snug at the moment but I know I’ll get there.

How much are you paying with Numan and for what dose? I’ve started grabbing cheap offers of MJ for maintenance.

I've kept all my old MJ pens, they've not been in the fridge but the info says ok up to 30 degrees? My kitchen has definitely never got that hot.

Not that I'm planning on doing anything with them really.

@LazyArsedMagician Unused Mounjaro pens must be kept in the fridge, and then will keep until the expiry date printed on the pen.

If an unused pen is brought up to room temperature then the 30 day countdown for expiry will have begun. In-use pens kept out of the fridge should be kept below 30 degrees celsius.

That info is all in the paper patient information/instruction leaflet that came with the pens.

Once they aren’t in the fridge they only last 30 days.

Ive not had MJ for over a week now and I caved and got Wegovy - still with SheMEd. Im just under 3stone loss but the NSV are amazing.

Im so scared to start Wegovy, in case I have awful side effects, so decided tomorrow I am WFH so will do it then which means I have the weekend if I feel yuk.

Lets keep on going. I think I have 3-4 stone that I WANT to lose and I really need to tone. Clothes are falling off me, which is great, but not for the purse.

Ah damn must've misread that then!

Never mind, I only kept them because I keep forgetting to ask the people how best to get rid of them lol.

Last 2 Numan doses were 10mg for £189.
i also have a SheMed pen let in fridge so ok for a little while.

I am a total of 5stone 6lbs down since Jan.

I have been getting 5mg as it’s for maintenance. Paid £150 from Chequp. Waiting for my sister to use her doses up so that I can grab a bonus when she moves on. I looked on monj.uk and followed through on the cheapest on there. Should have been £120 but ended up as £180 so didn’t buy. I feel pretty good on Wegovy so may just stick with that and give the MJ to my sister. I’ll decide in a few weeks when I know whether Wegovy is working for me.

well im not a happy jabber. wk 1 wegovy and the food noise is back, the hunger is back and its made me realise how much monjaro was helping me.

Oh no I’m sorry to hear this. Is it that Wegovy dose is quiet low and room for that to go up?

do you know… the return of hunger & food noise terrifies me.
Now that I am 5.5 stone down, weight loss slower & know I can’t loose without MJ now, but worry about what if I can’t keep the weight off. I just don’t know how I will ever come off…

Did you taper?

I am wondering about spacing jabs out more like 8 day to help make my stock last longer but also deal with a little food noise?

Stick with it. I was like this first week but it’s been a bit better this week. Third jab on Thursday. I have read that it’s 3-4 weeks before it starts working properly. Your body is still getting used to Wegovy and like I mentioned previously as we are quite far through the process, we have less to lose and weightloss will slow down. My SIL has lost the same amount as me on Wegovy in the same time period so it does work, we just have to have a little patience. Did you switch over to 1mg? I did but my next pen is 1.7mg and I read on FB that someone had been given 2.4mg so they are putting the doses up.
