I would have loved to stay on MJ too but the cost was just too much for me. I have about 1-1.5 stone still to go but I’ve got into 12/14’s so if this is where I stay I’m actually fine with that.

I read somewhere that Eli Lilly are changing the design of the Kwikpen to remove the golden dose so if you can stockpile more, I’d go for it.

I think I'm doing my first Wegovy shot tomorrow - wondering how I'm going to feel?! I've been lucky I think we very few side effects, hoping it'll be the same.

I've also weirdly found 10mg MJ has had a lot less appetite suppression, but then I also have to take into consideration the increased activity so who knows?

What is annoying is basically not having the slightest clue how much to eat. I don't count calories, but I do try and have small breakfast and lunch and a normal sized dinner. The times when I have counted, it's been max 1400 calories, and I just. Don't. Lose. I'm not tiny, I'm 164cm and still in the obese category. I should be dropping weight like nobody's business.

Anyway, I've been stalled for a good five weeks now, so hoping for a loss tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Have you worked out your bmr and tdee etc let's u know how many calories to eat

Thought it was about time that I showed you my progress. Before photo I was about 16st10lbs and on the right 12st1lbs so a few pounds off 5stone loss. Size 20/22 to a size 14. Feeling fab and bloody proud of myself.

I found a photo on my phone yesterday from back in January and dug out the same T-shirt to take another one for comparison and it swamps me. Don’t see it when I look in the mirror but the pictures don’t lie!

I’m just seeing it now. I have been buying clothes on Vinted and a lovely top arrived last week. I held it up and thought there’s no way that’ll fit as it looked way too small BUT it fits and fits comfortably. I’m chuffed.

Yep and depending on levels of activity for 1kg weight loss a week, calcs tell me between 1500-1700 per day. I've been exercising 5 days a week.

Scales have actually started shifting down after 3 weeks on Wegovy - it felt like it was never going to happen.

It's a different experience to being on Mounjaro to me, with MJ it was easy to do 'intuitive' eating, where I didn't have to track my intake at all, I was just eating correct amounts. Wegovy is requiring a bit more brain power, I don't get the full feeling as strongly, and I'm definitely more conscious of nice food being out there.

I think this is why Mounjaro was dubbed the King Kong of WLI. It just made things so much easier. I actually think that going to Wegovy where we have to put more effort in will be good for the long term maintenance. I’m due to start this week but toying with getting a golden dose of Mounjaro. My niece is a nurse and will safely get the dose into a syringe for me so no worries on that part. Think it’s just me clinging onto MJ as long as I can 😂

I really don’t get sizes… I weigh a lot more than you but starting a size 22.
I have lost over 5 stone now and come to a size 18.
Dont get me wrong I am very happy with this but just don’t understand how peoples size change with weight. Seems so random.
i can not imagine being a size 14-16 again (I was as a teenager) but for me that is 20KG weight wise to loose to get to that.
I used to think a clothes size was 10lbs to a stone 😆

It’s weird isn’t it? I lost a good couple of stone before I moved down on sizes. Obviously height plays a part, I’m 5’6” and I had huge boobs. I also wore size 22 to try and hide the bulk, my true size was probably tight 18 bottoms and 20 tops. That photo was 22 top and 18 bottoms. The recent photo was 14 top and bottoms. Boobs have only really reduced in the last half stone really.

Earlier this week I’d broken into the 11st bracket but true to form, day before weigh in and I’m at 12st dead! Still a loss, just not as big as it would have been!

Yes I’m the same with sizes - started at a 22-24, depending on fit, lost nearly 5 1/2 stone and I’m in an 18 now most of the time. I’m 5’ 7”. I’d like to be on a 14, but, the rate I’m going, I’ll need to lose another 5st before that happens!

I find clothing sizes so bizarre.

I'm quite short, 164cm (or 5ft 4 and a half in old money ) and was about 17 stone. I'm now about 12 st 9, which is lower than before I had my children (who are 17 in Jan btw...) and even thought I carry all my weight round my middle, I'm a Medium or a 14 at most. I was a 22 in January.

Obviously I'm over the moon that I've lost so much and my body has changed - but how on earth am I a Medium?!

I need to start going to charity shops though, I'm buying way too many clothes new that I probably (hopefully!) won't fit in next month.

I’ve been shopping on Vinted. Got some real bargains on there. I have bought some new stuff but not much.

On a different tack, I golden dosed this morning. Used a silicon mat to twist the end of the pen. Was actually quite easy. Start Wegovy next week but am hoping to return to MJ for maintenance.

My sister is with Chequp and sent me a referral so I have a 5mg on its way for £123 which was a bargain. We are going to keep shifting from one company to another to get the introductory bonuses and referral bonuses. The dates on the pens are really long so I will just store in the fridge until I get to target and move down via Wegovy then switch. I went for 5mg as I’m hoping that I’ll be able to maintain on 2.5mg so then I’ll get 8 doses from each pen. The MJ pens are changing and there will be no golden dose in the new pens.

8 doses from one pen certainly makes it more cost effective but is it ok to use it past 30days I wonder?
My pen arrives today following a RM delay and was not cold (48hour transit). Not finished my current pen so now not sure what to do

One of my pens took 72 hours but I was assured it was fine to use. I think as the weather is cooler now, it should be fine.

I wondered about using past 30 days but having read articles and watched numerous YouTube videos I think it should be ok. I keep my pens in the fridge so this will help.

I get 10 doses from a pen (2 golden doses) but at some point I will have to take a break as I now have a stash!

Oh wow. I wish I’d done it from the start. Are you on the £99 plan? What dose are you on? Are you at target or still losing? So many questions lol
