I saw! Probably won’t be able to do mine tomorrow either due to being snowed in!

Oh no! I've got -8 degrees tonight but no snow has settled where I am fortunately! (Or unfortunately haha)

JBJ · 09/01/2025 17:34

Just signed up---- 😀

KeenGreen · 09/01/2025 18:00

Did my blood test earlier it arrived at 11.30.

Very easy process and got connected straight away to live agent who was calm and helpful even though I felt a little nervous and flustered.
I had the heat pack missing but I just had to rub my arm instead so was no issue.

posted back and I’m hoping results won’t be too long but says up to 3 days

kittykarate · 09/01/2025 20:07

I posted on a Thursday, got my blood test results on Saturday, approval on a Sunday, pen in my hand on Tuesday. So it can be pretty quick @KeenGreen

KeenGreen · 09/01/2025 20:12

@kittykarate fab thank you! 😊🤞

This has got me a bit worried, I posted my blood off and according to the royal mail tracking it was delivered at 07.21 on 8th January but my SheMed app still says they are waiting for my kit.
Hopefully it's just because they've had a lot of people sign up recently and they will suddenly update with results!

kittykarate · 09/01/2025 20:21

They don't seem to have a status in the app for 'received but being tested/waiting for results '. Mine went straight from waiting for your test to having results.

Oh that's good to know, thank you. I'll stop worrying 😁

Kebabo · 09/01/2025 20:45

Had an email just to tell me to do my blood test tomorrow as they are trying to catch up. Tomorrow it is then!!!

When did you post your sample back? I posted mine on Tuesday morning and Royal Mail tracking says it’s still waiting to be delivered at the mail centre

Morning everyone,
I too have taken the plunge and trying SheMed and my blood test is due tomorrow.
just checking what everyone else did about fasting as the email I have received says that fasting is not required, but, from what I’m reading, most of you have been fasting beforehand?

When I did it, it was still saying fasting was required - but that was easy, I just did it in the morning before I'd eaten anything.

Annathomps · 10/01/2025 10:01

Thank you :) have you received your blood tests results yet?

Kebabo · 10/01/2025 10:57

Blood test done and sent. Just have to wait now!

Excellent! Fingers crossed 🤞

Kebabo · 10/01/2025 13:08

I did mine at 6am so fasting wasn't an issue. Connected to someone straight away and they talked me through the who process. Brilliant. It does not hurt at all.

These bloods won't make any difference to whether you do or don't lose weight with a GLP1

Annathomps · 10/01/2025 14:30

Has anyone in this group received their first pen yet and started?

I got the same. The h fortunate thing is, due to snow my delivery has failed both yesterday and today so I’ll either receive Saturday or Monday I guess. Doesn’t matter that much as I wasn’t planning to do before Monday anyway but I’m still a bit impatient!

fruitj · 10/01/2025 22:34

Got my results today. Nothing unexpected in there, everything was normal except all the cholesterol ones were into the high range.
I had my bloods done a couple of years ago and cholesterol was normal then but high cholesterol is a problem in my family so I guess it's caught up with me.

fruitj · 10/01/2025 22:35

Oh and I meant to add, they did accept me. Took the first £99 pretty much straight away, and the first pen has been prescribed and dispatched!

fruitj · 10/01/2025 23:10

Hopefully as soon as I get it 😁
