So you need to have scales? I’d better get mine ordered then!

Yes. They want you to step on scales and they verify your weight via the camera. Also need to have ID ready.

KeenGreen · 17/01/2025 17:22

Hi all!

@Kebabo that’s great you’ve not had any effects,

I did my first jab today and around 3 hours later experienced lightheaded dizziness, Google tells me it’s low blood sugar.

I had barely eaten, I’ve eaten now and now feel a little queasy but not unmanageable.

BestDIL · 17/01/2025 18:08

Has anyone had their blood results on a Saturday? Just wondering whether I'll have to wait until Monday now!

Kebabo · 17/01/2025 20:04

Don't know about the bloods.
Boring post again from me as thankfully no side effects but also no food noise

Mine came back on a Saturday lunchtime, approval/prescription on Sunday, sent out on Monday.

BestDIL · 17/01/2025 21:57

@kittykarate thank you

Chylde · 18/01/2025 11:52

I just received my blood results and now worried, pretty much all my results except for diabetes and thyroid come back in the red (too high).
Anyone else had this and still been accepted?
My results are currently being reviewed by a clinician.

MelodicStarfall · 18/01/2025 14:15

Hi I've just taken the plunge with SheMed. I did my blood test and returned on Thursday and waiting for results. Checking every hour like some kind of maniac!

I think we might be on a similar timeline.

Kebabo · 18/01/2025 16:13

Another boring update! The only side effect I have is not being hungry! Desperate to hop on the scales but will try to hold off until Wednesday - jab day.

Does anyone have a copy of the Ts and Cs? I stupidly accepted without reading! I’ve emailed them, but my blood test has arrived, so keen to start if it’s all ok. I thought I was just signing up to the blood test 😯

Kebabo · 19/01/2025 16:14

Another day goes by. 4 days into 1st week, no issues. Can take or leave food. Getting lots of protein in.

Had my prescription approved today, can't wait to receive my medication and get started 🙌

There are Ts & Cs on their website which cover the clinical trial offer, which is called the "Adherence Programme":

supercatlady · 19/01/2025 17:17

Thank you - I see for adherence programme it says : This is a 12 month subscription to a market-leading low price weight loss programme which may include prescription medication. Presumably it says “may include” to cover if you reach goal weight before 12 months?

I've just signed up. I'm going to need you all to keep me sane and help me use this journey to change my habits!

I've just signed up today too! Have been mulling it over for a few weeks now and finally took the plunge. Hope the blood test doesn't take too long to arrive.

Reginaphalangeeeee · 20/01/2025 14:52

Has anyone noted if those with side effect loose more (as in there are very sensitive to the drug) or is it just random?

Nausea starting to kick in a little. Not horrendous but just not feeling shiny.

MelodicStarfall · 20/01/2025 15:37

SheMed received my blood test on Friday and I got my results back at 2pm today. Just waiting to see if I've been accepted.

Kebabo · 20/01/2025 19:29

Great to know others are on this journey. I hope all get their pens soon and that you are side effect free. I'm looking at this as a year long marathon rather than a sprint. Tied in for a year, so need to take it one day at a time.
Be great if we can support teacher through the crazy!
As for me, day 5 - no sideffects and no food noise. I am eating a lot of protein and drinking like a fish! Scale and jab day on Wednesday.

supercatlady · 21/01/2025 06:19

When you say no food noise - do you not feel hungry at all? Ie are you just eating because you know you need to?

BestDIL · 21/01/2025 14:09

Soooo excited, had bloods back yesterday and just been pinged to say MJ issued and delivery expected tomorrow. That’s perfect for me as I was planning Weds as jab day!

@Kebaboi’m also looking at it from a year long marathon. I’m hoping if I get to goal before that, that I can drop the dose down as a maintenance. We’ll see I guess.

kittykarate · 21/01/2025 14:56

supercatlady · 21/01/2025 06:19

My colleague has been on it much longer, so is on a higher dose (12.5 mg) - he finds that sometimes the day after injecting he doesn't feel any hunger at all.

For me on my 2.5mg dose - I feel hungry but not OMG I'm on a diet hungry at meal times, but more able to stop eating before my plate is cleared and I seem to notice feeling full. It has almost completely silenced the Snack Gremlin, who is that little voice that says "Oh go on, have a biscuit/bag of crisps/elevenses"

Kebabo · 21/01/2025 17:17

Food noise for me is the constant thoughts of what I have eaten or will eat. Drives me mad. Now I have my plan and don't have the noise all day. Am ready to eat, but not desparate for rubbish

OP posts:
Kebabo · 21/01/2025 18:23

6 days, all good! Nothing to report, other that I feel in control. Weigh and jab day tomorrow. I have resisted weighing, so have no idea what the scales will say. Scared I won't have lost much. The 1st month is supposed to be about your body getting used to the jabs, weightloss is a bonus.
