I gave signed up and am now waiting for the blood test to arrive. I'll post updates on here so you will know if it is reputable or not. Hope it will help others.

Hey guys so I've been on Mounjaro for a month and one week. Not sure what to think, first week lost 3 kilos then from week 2 to week 4 I gained some weight lost some weight by the start of week 5 i had not lost more weight but not gained anymore, now week 5 passed and I lost a kilo in one week. Craving wise, at the beginning I had no cravings then all of a sudden I had loads of cravings for chocolate, then got a bit better, now is way less. Because I started the 5mg dosage now I don't feel too hungry so I usually eat a late breakfast at around 11am then an early dinner 5-6pm and maybe I'll have a biscuit later but I limit myself to just have one. Let's see how it goes....

@cmma01 I ordered early without a check in as I'm going away. I can see on my app that 5mg has been prescribed. As others may have said, 2.5 is a loading dose apparently. I've read here on the scaremonger FB group that you can choose to stay on 5 when you get there.
My 3rd dose is Thursday & I can feel the wane today 😊

Just been on the scales & can see despite feeling like I need to eat near injection day & having very small amounts of good food, that the scales a couple of days ahead of check in day are looking like very little off this week. Slow & steady. This is generally what happens to me, as soon as my body knows what's going on it hangs on for survival. At least I'm unlikely to cave in & binge on bad stuff - won't be able to face it.
We'll see how the journey goes - it's not a race, we just need to get to our finish lines 🤗

Hi everyone, just to keep you in the loop as I know some have had delays too.
So I'm now week 5 and still waiting for delivery.
I've chased daily and today resorted to ringing the pharmacy directly myself.
I enquired as to what was happening. I received a call back from the lead pharmacist who advised me, that they only recieved the prescription on Tuesday last week, over 3 weeks after sign up, despite being told by customer service when chasing that it was with the pharmacy and they were having technical issues, and lost paperwork etc etc.
I found out that actually there was an error on the prescription from shemed as they had ordered 2 instead of 1, the pharmacy had queried it with customer services over a week ago and despite chasing they were still waiting for a response.
So still no delivery, still no release. And another message to shedmed.

Fingers crossed for Thursday then

here is my loss chart

Wk 1 5.6lbs
Wk 2 8lbs -but changed scales so really 4lbs
Wk 3 no change
Wk 4 1lb ON
weigh in is Thursday for me first week on 5mg and so far a 3lbs loss.

I realised that I wasn’t eating enough. Now I’ve upped my intake a bit (only a bit) and that plus 5mg seems to have started the loss again. 5mg definitely so much better than 2.5mg which, of course, is just to get our bodies used to MJ. I have another 3 doses of 5mg but if it stays like this I’ll stay on 5mg until I feel like it isn’t working anymore.

When I get impatient, I just remind myself that I am only 5 weeks into a 52 week programme. X

4 days into week 1 5mg and appetite suppression is significant still.
I’m rather hoping that I might be able to stay at this dose for a while but it’s obviously early days. Week 1 at 2.5mg was pretty effective but not as strong suppression as this for sure.
interestingly my weightloss is currently moderate compared to the start which I’m glad about as the beginning was, by my own admission, rather extreme.

@Margo84 oh me what a time your having ...got to be honest I would have gone mental bye now !!! so well done on your patience . I hope you tell shemed what the pharmacy have told you !! .Fingers crossed for Thursday x

Well weigh in today and stayed the same. Going to trust the process. I have lost a lot in the 6 weeks - 2 stone 1lb. Not eaten any differently and have begun swimming. Good luck all jabbers!

This is wonderful progress welld one you,and we'll done for creating a new healthy habbit with your swimming. 2st 1 is an incredible loss.

Hi all I'm week 3 day 4 of 2.5mg and Ive just started my second period since starting the jab! Anyone else get this? I've heard of people having no period/ heavier period but not more periods. My suppression has completely gone and last weigh in ( post period) I had barely lost anything (3/4 of a pound) I feel like the same will happen this week. Im really hoping I don't get a period every time I jab!

I don't think Mounjaro affects ovulation rate so I don't see why you would get more periods when taking it. Best to mention this in your questionnaire on the part about side effects and also run it past your own GP. Could be something unrelated..
