I've done so much research and checked monj.co.uk and now I've just confused myself

Can you tell me who you use and I'll take the majority!

Gosh, it needs to be a personal decision based on what is most important to you, not who gets the popular vote

OushkSmoushk · 28/12/2024 09:03

Agree with the first poster.

However if you want the most popular kids: Medexpress first, then Oushk.

Medexpress for their discounts; Oushk for their "amaaaziing" customer service and knowledge that no other provider has, as said often by their brand promoters on mumsnet/tiktok/social media.

Time4changeagain · 28/12/2024 09:14

I’ve been with
Medexpress… never again as found their customer service and processing shocking.

Zava found them ok, reasonable prices and processed within a few days. Would use again.

Now with
IQ doctor, initially tried them because of the discount but was impressed with the fast processing and delivery. Got all my pens next working day so I’ve stayed with them

Excitedannie · 28/12/2024 09:20

Thanks - sorry I should have said - this isn't my first time - in was with
Boots originally but had to stop for surgery.

I'm with Oushk, not for the fan girling on Facebook reasons but for the maintenance programmes available and the ability to pick your delivery date.

I was with a previous supplier who were fine but guessing when to order so the delivery would come when someone was is was a pain.

Mainly I didn't want to be cut off at BMI 24 with no options.

I believe there are a few more providers with decent maintenance policies now and that would be my primary consideration when choosing a supplier because it is more difficult to change when your BMI is normal.

Your needs regarding delivery or collection are another big factor. If you need to collect ASDA might be best, if you need set day delivery Oushk. You may prefer DPD or Royal Mail or some other courier so check this out too.

Excitedannie · 28/12/2024 10:49

Thanks - helpful stuff

Zava - was motivated by price originally.
prices are still good and service has been fine. Get needles, sharps bin etc.
good discount code policy and prices are ok without it.

when I started 6 months ago Voy was the supplier of the moment but they’re horribly expensive without a referral code.

i cared more about price than “coaching” and community. So depends what’s important to you.

Zava you can message a doctor anytime.

I may or may not change to med express but am put off by tales of bad service as they are v popular at the moment so very busy.

WeAllHaveWings · 28/12/2024 11:12

I've used two suppliers, currently with Oushk, mainly because I can pick a delivery date and courier. Pens have arrived on time and chilled.

They didn't with previous supplier and I wasn't sure when they were dispatching as they printed labels a day or two before, triggering an email to say "we are expecting your parcel" from their courier, which I didn't like.

Other providers might allow selecting delivery dates now, but I haven't checked recently.

12purplepencils · 28/12/2024 11:28

yes with Zava it is a slight unknown when it will arrive although you get notification from Royal Mail on the morning (or possibly day before, I can’t remember).
if I’m going out I just leave a note for my postman to leave the cold parcel on the doorstep/in the porch and it’s been fine.

dermalermalurd · 28/12/2024 14:01

I had to threaten med express with outing them for causing an unnecessary hiatus in my treatment on the weight loss boards to get them to hurry up, took them more than two weeks to deliver. Pharmacy2u has been fine, med express just had better discounts. The family chemists were good too. I shop around as I can't afford to pay too much.

pazwaz70 · 28/12/2024 14:56

I've been with medexprees since June. Now on 10mg.Never had any issues with them.

unsync · 28/12/2024 15:24

I use Asda for the convenience of being able to collect in store. I think they use Zava for fulfillment though. Customer service is good too.

susiedaisy1912 · 28/12/2024 15:52

Med express and Pharmulous are the two that I've used, both were fine.

Mysticmaiden2024 · 28/12/2024 16:50

2 pens with pillsorted now, very fast approval of medication and dispatch, first time maybe 6-8 hrs and that was as I had to send photo proof of previous prescription and ID. Last time was 3hrs each time 24hr royal mail delivery. The Family Chemist took 5 days to approve for me after numerous emails 🙈

I honestly don't know how you and your mental vendetta against Oushk haven't been banned. I'm assuming you're an ex employee or have some other personal grudge?

AnsX10 · 28/12/2024 17:06

Asda - since June. No issues.

Ironthrone · 28/12/2024 17:18

Iv had one from the slimming clinic. Terrible customer service so I would never go with them again.

My last 3 pens have been from IQ doctor and they have been great.

Doggymummar · 28/12/2024 17:19

Chequp. Nearly two years now, no issues

Darlinghag · 28/12/2024 17:24

I’m another who selected ASDA. Mainly for collection from the pharmacy if I needed, but I have used them in the past for another prescription and liked the service. No issues here, I have just ordered my sixth pen, and haven’t been required to do more than confirm weightloss and that medical info is correct. Approval has been mostly same day, and then received next day.

doodleschnoodle · 28/12/2024 17:30

I started with Asda but switched to Oushk who were fine but now with Cloud. Not anything wrong with Oushk but I was getting overwhelmed with all the discount codes and just wanted something a bit simpler.

Asda was a good starter but I couldn't justify spending £50 more a month than I need to when there wasn't any extra benefit (I don't need/want to collect it from a store for example).

Happy with Cloud and they support maintenance and are willing to be flexible with it.

Knowing what I do now, approach to maintenance would be a big consideration for me when choosing a supplier. Some of the big pharmacies are lagging behind on this front.

07whatever · 28/12/2024 19:11

I'm with MedExpress and have been since the start of my journey. Delivered next day via Royal Mail and in my experience, their customer service is very good. They send extra needles in case needed, and a sharps bin is provided too.

TidyDancer · 28/12/2024 19:17

I've only used MedExpress and they've been good. The only thing that's putting me off them slightly is that I don't believe they have a maintenance programme which will be important for me longer term. I'm nowhere near target yet but I do want to be conscious of it.

RamblingFar · 28/12/2024 19:24

I'm with Care Pharmacy. Get the pens in 1-2 days with no issues. They were the cheapest, but others have since got cheaper.

I tried MedExpress. Took 2 weeks to send the order and it arrived in ridiculously large packaging, so won't be using them again.

ShiftAMountain · 28/12/2024 19:36

Oushk. I like being able to select a delivery date and I've so far found them reasonably priced when they do good discounts and reliable re deliveries.

HansHolbein · 28/12/2024 19:51

Asda because I like to collect. Never had issues and very quick approval and collection. I always find them responsive.

Will move to Oushk for maintenance.
