I've done so much research and checked monj.co.uk and now I've just confused myself

Can you tell me who you use and I'll take the majority!

Started with Boots for the first couple pens as I had used them before so was familiar with ordering. Realised they were the most expensive. Switched to Oushk for the maintenance plans.

Peachesandfizz · 28/12/2024 20:28

I use Zava. Been using them from the start in September and not had any issues at all. Always arrive cold and on time. Also managed to bag a 10% discount code each time I've ordered. Can't fault them and won't change supplier.

izzy2076 · 28/12/2024 20:31

Cloud pharmacy. Very very efficient and prompt delivery. Very little contact with them. Very sensible and informed about maintenance. Maintenance approach was the most important factor for me.

Lola3034 · 28/12/2024 21:16

I started with Zava because of the price and the initial discount. The initial order and subsequent one was swift but both of the pens were delivered warm and Zava just wasn't interested. It wasn't their fault, more like Royal Mail fault but still. I switched to Medexpress, again for the discount and stayed with them since, asking for price match every single time. They have been ok so far. This time I make sure I don't order before the weekend so the order comes quickly and doesn't get stuck in a Royal mail depot over weekend. Read up about all the suppliers and decide what is most important for you

Bluenose1966 · 28/12/2024 21:44

I started with Numan but have changed to Oushk as they are reasonably competitive and I like the sound of their maintenance options.
The Oushk FB support group is good and the owner has regular live chats to offer advice, I haven’t seen this service offered by any of the other providers.
Based on what I have read on here I would also be happy to go with Cloud for maintenance,

Frightenedbunny · 28/12/2024 21:46

I was with medexpress then moved to zava. Have been with zava 5 months and had no problems whatsoever.

YummyCookie · 28/12/2024 21:52

I had 4 pens from Med Express and didn’t have any issues with them. That was before they changed their price match policy and you got a good amount off each month. I have just submitted an order now to change to Cloud due to their maintenance. Awaiting approval 🤞

I am far from maintaining but I'll have to switch at one point to someone supporting maintenance.

I'm with MedExpress, have been since I started. All the pens have been delivered within 48 hours of ordering, never a delay.

Iv had one from the slimming clinic. Terrible customer service so I would never go with them again.

My last 3 pens have been from IQ doctor and they have been great.

Do iq do maintenance

I was with med express since aug and only swapped this time as med now don't price match and couldn't justify !200 for 12.5

Fwiw had no issues with med. just the as dose is higher

They reply quick to Emails - deliver on time - generally low cost

So I've applied to iq yesterday as will get £40 off so a huge saving

TidyDancer · 28/12/2024 19:17

I've only used MedExpress and they've been good. The only thing that's putting me off them slightly is that I don't believe they have a maintenance programme which will be important for me longer term. I'm nowhere near target yet but I do want to be conscious of it.

They do. They sent me this

Which supplier do you use?
Blondeshavemorefun · 29/12/2024 22:09

@Lola3034 I was the same as you till this month and now med don't price check apart from all the suppliers at same price as them so pointless

So be warned

12purplepencils · 29/12/2024 22:35

I wouldn’t call limiting it to 2 years supporting a maintenance programme tbh. It will probably take me 1 year to reach my goal.

That's what I'm trying to work out

Is it 2yrs once hit goal /healthy bmi

Or

2yrs in all

It's going to take me prob a year in all - maybe a little less depending how slow the last few stone are

MjMadness · 30/12/2024 00:03

Anyone know what Numan is like for maintenance?

The only thing that I am loyal to is my wallet. The moment they become unaffordable I will switch for sure. I have too much weight to lose to carry on with expensive suppliers and I already just about to scrape by in order to be able to buy it. This month I got really lucky because someone used my referral code for which I am extremely grateful ❤️ and it brought the price down 🥳 but I know that next month I might have to switch. Thankfully the switching process is easy.

Bluenose1966 · 30/12/2024 08:23

I would just use the cheapest supplier until getting to healthy BMI then choose one that has good maintenance programme.
I am going to do my maintenance with Oushk as they offer 3 different maintenance plans. Thinking of the £20 per month one to stay on their books for a year so if I do start to put weight on I can get another pen.
Have also heard good things about Cloud for maintenance, just been reading their maintenance policy and they don’t charge £20 per month to stay on their books so I may be best enquiring about them first.

The danger is coming off it at a healthy BMI, then putting weight on and no-one willing to prescribe it to you as BMI is now not high enough. I am 58 and have lost and regained weight so many times over the years cannot risk that happening.

Lola3034 · 30/12/2024 08:40

Order update: it seems like it will come tomorrow!

Ups! Wrong thread 😅

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/12/2024 10:14

Prob with that @Bluenose1966 is some suppliers now won't accept you if bmi 28 or lower

So overweight but not obese /30

So if nearing 28 to get to 25 , some may have to make a decisions to find a supplier and stick with them - which means no swapping to get a lower price pen

Mes express said

The prescriber's can accept a BMI under 28, however it is on a case by case basis based on many different factors and we can not guarantee that you will be accepted initially.

The two years is the maximum amount of time that prescriber's will allow you to be on the maintenance dose, given the BMI remains above 23.5

piefacedClique · 30/12/2024 10:16

I use monj to see whoever is cheapest. Have used mesexpress, oushk, zava and curate. Only one I wouldn’t recommend is curate: took nearly two weeks to arrive!
