Gearing up for a JANUARY start!

Just approved and am assuming that the pen won’t arrive until after Christmas so will start the new year with a, er, prick.

Anyway, thought I’d start a thread for anyone else planning on a slimmer 2025!

Second day into my 2nd dose and my suppression is high. It's the first day I simply couldn't be bothered to make a meal - even after going for a run. So made a Huel drink instead, which I enjoyed and at least gave me some protein. First day back at work, and no reaching for the mid afternoon biscuits. All good.

And yes @GorgeousLadyofWrestling yesterday after my dose I was definitely feeling a buzz. Got it the first week too, but thought it was a one off. It wears down, for sure and has gone today.

Ha can so relate to the "preferably by tomorrow" ice got a lot to lose so it will be over a year but I want it Now!

Wk2, day 1 very high suppression today. Just about managed a protein yogurt and my evening meal! No other symptoms. In total, I lost 2.2 kgs (about 5lb) this week. Very pleased.

I managed the grand total of:
-1 glass of watermelon juice
-a handful of All Bran
-a bowl of vegetable soup
-I'm going to try some pomegranate and yogurt in a sec.

Still drinking plenty of water, no horrible side effects still.

I made some more soup and prepped a salad. Had a rest day from cardio today, but did some press ups (just against a kitchen counter as I'd probably die if I tried doing real ones). Weight on Friday was 76.2kg. It's now 74.6kg.

I'm working tomorrow and Weds, (7-8), so it will be interesting to see how I get on at work. Hope everyone's doing ok? I really love this thread :)

For those of you who order via Zava, do you receive a tracking number? I was approved for my first dose over the weekend, my order is now marked as ‘done’ but when I click the tracking, there’s no number for the Royal Mail app to search.

Really struggled to motivate to eat but got there in end
Breakfast was a protein bagel thin with smooth peanut butter lightly spread and some blueberries and tiny drizzle of honey took 40min to eat but tasted amazing 1st time ever tryin but that was me until dinner tonight as felt so full allday kept up with my water intake had a isotonic drink.
Gusto meal is added to my final calculation but a couldn't finish it had 1 spoonful of the rice and tapped out ate the chicken breast and greens as knew never ate since 10am so knew had to up my intake someway so although calories are less I know my protien intake is up there best I can with plenty of fluids.
Jag day was Friday 7.30pm update 8.30 Monday praying scales are good to me on Friday 🤞😭 goodluck every1 x

I noticed that as well today. I re-read the approval email from Zava and it says that a further email will be sent by Zava's delivery partner once they've got it. I'm assuming that's when the tracking number will be available. I've not had an email from Royal Mail as yet.

Your post made me chuckle. I have been feeling very impatient too today- like why am I not slim already?!
You've inspired me to add lentil soup to online shop as well- great protein idea!
I've hit my protein target for first time today! And have eaten well under my carb target so think I'm finally getting into swing of things.

Ah thanks; I had missed that I’d also get an email from Royal Mail. Just super keen to start and have been preparing myself for a Thu evening initial jab. I don’t work Fridays so wanted 3 days clear in case I’m hit hard with side effects. Are you starting this week too @JoJothegerbil ?

Yes, I sent an email today and this was their reply.

I’m day 4 and after ok suppression tonight I am starving. Stomach rumbling can’t stop thinking about food. Have had 1400 calories so not keen to eat more but I’m also nervous for how I’m going to feel tues-fri before the next dose.

I ordered from medexpress on the 3rd. Yesterday they emailed to apologize for delay then today i got an email saying all approved so hoping it will be here by friday ready to start next week.

Hi all, I am on my second week of 2.5 mg. First week was great no sides effect at all. Second one not so great, had my jab on Friday morning, weekend was a nightmare, back to life today. I have around 3 stones to loose to healthy BMI. Good luck everyone and well done for all the losses.

@SilentMind, what sort of side effects did you have? (sorry if you posted this over the weekend!)

Anyone still waiting on MedExpress?

I ordered 2 January- uploaded picture and id .. got an email today saying my picture was no good ( leggings and sweatshirt)

so I sent one in with me in shorts and tshirt - then a return email saying that was no good either… so.. did one in knickers and bra… (yum)

now waiting … is there an issue with MedExpress and this some delay tactic, as I’ll just ask for a refund and go else where if they are going to be this useless.

Yes there is. I ordered on the 2nd of January and still waiting. It's been approved but not dispatch yet. Sent an email today and this was their reply.

First week I felt so great that I thought well I could stay on this forever. After the second job I woke up and I felt like my room was spinning, massive dizziness, few hours later diarrhoea, nauseous and migraine headache, which finally stopped this morning. I am a bit concerned about the 3rd dose but l’ll definitely stick to 2.5mg for my next pen.

Hey, don't want to be that person, but 12 st 6 isn't 160 lb , it's 174 lb, only know that cos it's also my starting weight! 🙈😂

took me a while to finally decide to do it - now I just want to get on and - do it!!

hopefully my hideous photos don’t get rejected again. Im 16st 11 - so not sure what the issue is, I definitely ain’t skinny lol!!
