Before MJ I was regular in my daily visit to the loo 😬. A cup of coffee in the morning and off I would go!
Anyhow the frequency of my time on the loo has greatly reduced!
However yesterday, I thought I was going to:
a) die with pain
b) have to call an ambulance
I needed the loo, except 😳😳😳 it was too big to come out 😳😳😳 so think, half in, half out and NOT budging!
I’ve never given birth other than by c section but a friend said it’s almost like doing an enormous and very painful poo, which I didn’t understand, until yesterday.
I sat for 20 mins trying to visualise it coming out, breathing, relaxing, not getting stressed and then…. I asked my daughter (bless her wee heart) to bring me my phone and I started to google… and how dangerous constipation is!
The embarrassment factor and knowing it had to come out eventually meant I wasn’t going to call an ambulance before anyone says anything, but it fleetingly came into my mind, what on earth will I do? What would I do if this happened when I wasn’t at home?!
Another website said to lie on the ground with legs higher than pelvis, which I did and then walked around a bit. This worked, thankfully! 😅
I’m not going to describe the size other than 😳
Anyway the point of my lighthearted but painful lesson, is that I need more fibre in my diet.
Lunch yesterday was salmon and wholemeal pasta, don’t really feel like pasta these days.
I’ll definitely be seeing how I can avoid this in future.
Hopefully no one is too offended by my description 😬
