@morbidcuriosity I've PM'd you. I won't necessarily use the dose I've ordered but at that price figured I could choose when I get to it. I'm still only on week 4 of 2.5 as I was ill and didn't start for four weeks. Also, I only ordered at about 5pm last night and when I looked at about 7 it was already authorised and is now awaiting dispatch 👌🏽

Hi lovely, could you PM me the code too? Thank you 🙏

A tad disappointing I’ve put on a pound this week - had a heavy night out with a 3 course meal + lots of alcohol on Thursday so knew I might not lose but I’m disappointed to have a gain several days later when I’m low calorie every single day…. never mind hopefully next week will see better results. I’ve got 1 more dose of 5 then I’m up to 7.5

I had ‘Linner’ (when a restaurant lunch turns into dinner 😂) with good friends yesterday. Although I didn’t overeat, a good 7 hours of drinking meant DD and I missed the end of strictly as I had my head down the loo with her holding my hair back. Not my finest hour 😂

In other news, I wore the dress 🥳

W5D3 and my BMI is now 30! One more pound to be in the overweight category. I took the bonus dose of 2.5mg on Friday and woke up at 4am on Saturday thinking I was going to be sick. I think the culprit was two glasses of cava spiked with a tiny bit of honey rum for a more Christmassy flavour. Note to self: don’t drink on jab day! I felt dodgy all of yesterday as well, not helped by going out for lunch with PIL. I had a gin and tonic and FIL ordered me a second one when I’d hardly touched the first, but I stuck to fish as the lightest menu option and no pudding. That’s all I ate yesterday - just felt bloated all day. Still, I dropped 4 ounces after the scales being stuck for 6 days, so I will take that!

Yay! As we all head into the heady heights of just ‘overweight’ 🎉

Thanks, i've ordered the 7 5mg. New achievement reached today. I got into what were previously a snug pair of size 16 jeans today with ease and hubby noticed my shape was changing, so that gives me a little boost to keep going.

🥳🥳🥳 new jeans 🥰

So end of week 7 and I’ve lost another 3lbs. So total in 7 weeks is 23 lbs 🙌🏻. I feel like I’ve been lucky so far in that my losses have been fairly consistent/ steady. No huge amounts at the beginning, but week 7 and I’m still consistently losing 2-3lbs per week. Long may it continue 💪🏻.

One thing is I started my period on Friday and it has been noticeably very light compared to normal ? 🤔 I hope this isn’t the MJ messing with my cycle..

Cycles are a dim memory for me, but I think the fact that the pill doesn’t work on MJ might be an indication that it does affect your hormones.

23lbs is incredible. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

@qotsa thank you for sharing that code. I’ve just ordered a 7.5mg pen (although I’m sticking to 5mg for another month) and as I had a referral credit I got it for £99.94 including postage.

Anyone else stocking up on bargain prices to make this as cost effective as possible?

I think I’m going to order a 5 and a 7.5 now as I think the likelihood of codes being around in January is possibly unlikely. A bit like trying to get an appointment with a divorce lawyer in January 😂

Just posted this on another thread and thought I would share it…..

Money wise… My first MJ cost £113. I made it last 5 weeks so equates to £22.60 a week.
Minimum of savings on items per week

  • take away coffees £6
  • Bottle of wine £10
  • multi pack walkers crisps £3
  • 1 takeaway per week £10
  • chocolate, biscuits and sweet items £12
total amount of items that would be in my weekly shop is £41, so I am actually saving money, how crazy is that!!
TeenLifeMum · 15/12/2024 11:07

Today is jab day and going up to 5mg, but I’m doing that at bed time as we’re off to our nearest city with the family and have a trip to a restaurant. I’m not calorie counting today and will be having a cocktail, but I’m going to aim to make sensible choices. Wish me luck.

Next week I am planning to make the best choices and exercise at home with my dumbbells.

Great plan. I had one martini yesterday as an aperitif, 3 champagnes and at least 2 glasses of red wine. Less than I would’ve had pre MJ over the same time but I was absolutely slaughtered. It seems I do not learn from my recent experiences 😂

Absolutely agree! The cost of MJ balances out with the savings I am making by not buying & guzzling unhealthy food and drink

My first week on 5mg has resulted in some underlying feelings of nausea and good suppression, but flipping awful constipation. I have been drinking a lot of water but have hardly gone to the loo at all. TMI but I ended up somewhat impacted and had a terrible day yesterday. I did manage to 'go' in the end but it was not an experience I want to repeat. Has anyone got any suggestions for how to combat this? I did take Laxido but probably not enough to really help.

To add insult to injury I have barely lost any weight this week - maybe just squeaked in with half a pound off, despite eating very little. And I don't drink so no alcohol was involved. My total loss over 5 weeks has been 11lbs so I'm happy overall.

Madickenxx · 15/12/2024 11:33

Happy Sunday everyone!

It's jab / weigh day today and I've just had my 8th injection and my 4th 5mg. I'm sticking to 5mg for another pen at least as it's working pretty well for me and with Christmas around the corner I prefer to be on a dose I'm not getting side effects from (touch wood). I have a 7.5mg in the fridge ready for January although I might stick to 5mg if it's still working at that point.

Drum roll please.....I lost 3lbs this week 🎉 which is the biggest weekly loss since week 1. It meant I also hit 1 stone lost since starting which I'm over the moon about. Took my blood pressure and it's still normal so a great result all in.

This year I've lost 2.5 stone altogether - and I can't believe I've managed it as it felt impossible at the beginning of the year. It just shows that 2-3lbs per month soon adds up - every little helps as they say lol.

Well done to all of us for sticking with it whether or not the results show on the scales from week to week. I'm always going to be a slow loser and that's ok as I'm in this for the long haul and will need time to embed new healthier habits.

Enjoy your Sundays whatever your plans are! I'm wrapping presents today alongside other pottering. 🙂

Thanks for the DM @qotsa unfortunately the code didn't work for me as it is only valid for existing customers who haven't ordered in 50 days.

This has been my main side effect. No movement at all Monday to Thursday evening this week and my tummy was so sore. I drink loads of water so it wasn’t that. Exercise loads so it wasn’t that either. Eat dates every day for fibre too. Then since Thursday it’s been fine. Hoping it was a one-off this week. I did google pressure points and exercises to relieve constipation on Thursday AM and I think they also helped. But I am low carbing so it could also be that.

Third day on 5 mgs. I have a cracking headache and feel like my world is ending. I have no idea if it's mounjaro or the beginnings of thst nasty cold everyone's got.
I hope the latter becsuse I couldn't deal with this for long. I can small gas but there is no gas, I've had it checked. Food tastes like cat food. I can't eat anything.

🥳

I’ll be mostly eating a roast dinner cooked by DH and watching shite films featuring Jason Statham or some other nonsense 😂

Week 1 for me on 5mg was pretty similar with the headache. Week 2 no headache but I calmed right down on the coffee front. Do you have Covid maybe if your taste is affected?

Is anyone lacking the Christmas cheer this year? Usually I am the most excited person about hosting Christmas and doing all the fun festive outings with my kids. But this year I just feel a bit blah about it all. Maybe it's because I haven't been drinking or indulging in nice food? I feel like I'm just watching everyone else have fun and I haven't been invited to the party!

@Cantbesure ah. That's a shame. Sorry. I didn't realise. Based on this @Mounjaropen do you still want me to DM you the code? Mine was a longer gap as I didn't start for four weeks due to being ill.

Ahhh ladies I feel rough . 3.75 is progressively making me feel like I have a horrendous hangover and I’m 24 hrs post jab …. My body doesn’t seem to cope well with more than 2.5 but 2.5 isn’t as effective ahhhhh

Went for a Sunday roast today, have a large takeaway container of the half of it I couldn't eat!

Ah man the explosive diarrhoea is back! Here’s hoping as I’m only on 3.75 it is short lived! Anyone else really struggling to increase their dose?
