Stockpiling

I seem to have quite a stockpile of pens as got some with offers etc, I will be on it for a while anyway as have a lot to lose.

I have worked out I will have enough to last me until next July! The expiry dates are e.g. next November for some, I will of course use the earlier ones first.

My only worry is if I do go on to maintenance it might be queries why I had them prescribed some time ago, I suppose I will just explain about the cost etc, I will take pics of all the pens to show the lime I have been on it, and I also have e.g. screenshots of it being prescribed on my NHS app with my weight etc, and pics I have provided of me as well.

Anyone else got a stockpile like this?

Embarassingly, @Orangesandlemons77 , mine is bigger and I estimate will take me to my latest 11/25 expiry dates. I can't order any more to keep a pharmacy relationship going unless/ until the expiry dates are further out. I just hope I can return to one of my regular pharmacies if I need ongoing maintenance beyond that date.

I increase my dose gradually and have been settled on taking 8.3mg for the last 6 weeks. I have a 5mg and couple of 7.5mg to use up next, due to expiry dates. This should help reduce my pile from the current 12 I have waiting, especially if I increase my dose further.

I wonder if buying and having the stockpile of pens gave me a dopamine hit that I've lost on MJ from food and alcohol.

I'm certainly not against taking it forever, but realise I might have scuppered my chances by stockpiling, which was mostly due to the previous uncertainty of maintenance options and prescribing guidelines.

I've lost 4 stone in 5 months, and have about 3 more to lose, but my rate of loss has about halved in the last couple of months so will likely take me a minimum 6-8 months to goal.

im on wegovy and have stockpiled, i did originally stop for a few weeks then the plan was to try to microdose but kept buying the 2.4mg pens but its not working as good at the smaller dose so been increasing it, at some point i will stop buying as only got about 1 stone to get off - once i have lost this i will then try microdosing again

Swissrollover mine would also last until about November if I go down to 5mg (currently on 10mg)

I have for another 5 months or so, and I’m about 5 lbs off goal. So I will also have for maintenance and then some. My stockpile was a result of my provider allowing (and encouraging) to order every 2 weeks. Initially I just went with the flow and re-ordered as soon as I was prompted. Then I got a bunch of free pens too and decided I might as well order them, in case the scheme goes away along with my accrued credit. So yes, I think I will be at goal by Feb/March, and then will start going down the doses and use up the rest by May. My plan is to go off completely then. With hopefully some margin below my goal weight.

I have just had another delivered (on a Sunday!) 12/25 is the expiry date.

I did start a thread recently about MJ Expiry Dates and supplier info. It hasn't gained much traction, but could be useful for us stockpilers to gauge who is sending out long-dated pens.

I was thinking about this over the weekend. I currently have enough to last me until the end of February and I want to order another one before Christmas to keep ahead of myself just in case of stock delays next year when (presumably) lots of people start on mounjaro. The only things that are holding me back is not knowing if I'll want to move up to 7.5 (currently on 5 but taking 3.75 from it) and expiry dates. I might order another 5 for now then see how I'm feeling!
