Ok so I just had my first dose of 2.5mg and 30 minutes later I'm already feeling sick. Is this in my head? Or is it possible. I really hope I don't feel like this constantly whilst I'm on it 😣

It maybe in your head yes, others will say they felt the same, but it may also be in their heads, but if it isn’t, then if you feel sick after 30 mins when it reaches full peak after 3 days I’d be buying some ginger tablets and rethinking,

Thank you. So I've woken up and I'm not feeling sick so that's good. But my body is aching. Upper body feels sore to touch. Almost like I've done a really tough workout the day before or like it's bruised. has anyone else experienced this?

@schoolmum11 I have seen several other people posting about the sore/aching upper body/neck reaction, it seems to be fairly common.

schoolmum11 · 11/11/2024 12:48

Oh phew!!! Have they said how long it lasts?

Have a look at this thread:

Various posters talk about their experience of the same kind of side effect.

Ah that's great. Thanks so much! Puts my mind at rest Smile

Yes I had a sore neck and shoulders on my first dose. It was my glands in my neck that were swollen.

It only lasted a couple of days and I've not had it since.

schoolmum11 · 11/11/2024 21:38

Great thank you @Snozzlemaid

Also on the first day did you eat? I'm not feeling sick but also not hungry. Wondering if I should make myself eat or just listen to my body.

Yes I did eat. A lot less than I previously did but I’ve always managed lunch and dinner each day.
You need to eat still. This has changed what food I’m interested in, so now don’t snack and usually want to eat chicken or fish with salad or vegetables.
Make sure you eat plenty of protein and fibre and drink lots. I have woken in the night feeling a bit dehydrated if I don’t drink enough during the day.
Good luck with it.
