MedEx have refused to price match Pill Sorted as they say there is an additional prescription fee. I'm confused and don't know how I would know that. It seems to me that the only way I'd find that out would be to sign up with them.
I've found that in fact The Private Pharmacy Clinic are charging ยฃ125 for the 5mg pen so I've tried again and sent them their screenshot.
On top of that MedEx are asking which pen I want to order but I don't want to order at the moment as I already have enough MJ to last me in to the New Year and don't know at this point what I'm going to order next. Sigh. I'm exasperated!!

They refused mine too. I have asked them to do the private pharmacy instead. Have also asked about the price match double too.

I have a nasty cold today and I am day two so peak suppression day, I've hardly managed to eat anything and can't get warm Sad forced down a half portion of dinner

recklessgran · 26/11/2024 19:26

@UtterlyQuackers I haven't heard back so I expect it will be tomorrow now.
I wouldn't be surprised if they pull the offer - they must be losing a fortune! Oh well, I'm not complaining as I haven't paid full price for any of the three pens I've bought so far.
@lapuf I hope you feel better soon - you need to be tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle!

I do! I had a worried looking DH when I went and camped out next to the oven! Think it's a combination of the cold and the mounjaro

@MissSmith80 the credit will be in your account so when you go to actually buy your next pen the credit will automatically be deducted on the payment page [it's in a yellow box] before they process your payment.

MissSmith80 · 26/11/2024 19:38

Thank you @recklessgran

terracottacountryfarm · 26/11/2024 20:40

@Fizzleaway1 thank you for the positivity. I lost 5ibs in one week a few weeks back, so I'm still losing but it's clearly slowed right down. X

terracottacountryfarm · 26/11/2024 20:42

@thekewgirl thank god it isn't just me! It's so jarring isn't it, makes you lose all sort of hope until you see a drop again. Fingers crossed for you! X

My biggest win by far is the fact after 2. 5yrs of not wearing my engagement and eternity rings, they actually now fit. I have been so desperate to wear them again. I didn't have a huge lot to lose when I started this journey (and still on it) 3st loss is my target, but I have been so excited to actually get these rings back on my chubby fingers

TheChosenTwo · 26/11/2024 22:09

@Gilly1C congratulations!
I donโ€™t really have a goal weight, in some ways itโ€™s helpful to have a target but mine is more about feeling healthy and resetting my relationship with food, hopefully giving myself a better chance of a more physically healthy active retirement and being in good condition for grandchildren one day. My mum had a near fatal stroke in her 40โ€™s and now I just turned 40 I realised I needed to fix things so I donโ€™t go the same way.

i suppose Iโ€™ll just know when Iโ€™ve reached where I want to be but Iโ€™m enjoying the journey so far. Hoping to reach a stone off by Saturday which will be 5 weeks. Feeling so much lighter just without having constant food noise and that alone is priceless for me. Iโ€™ve realised just how much of my life was dominated by what I was going to eat and when.

Not sure if anyonr remembers me... 2.5mg didn't do anything for me but 5mg it's definitely kicking in! Took my 3rd 5mg on Thursday.

Original SW over a year ago: 14st 6lbs
Mounjaro SW: 12st 9lbs
CW: 12st 3lbs
GW: not sure!

Need to be 9st 12lbs to be a healthy weight but the lowest I've weighed in my adult life is almost a stone more than that so it sounds ridiculous to me!

I'm also convinced I'll have too much loose skin if I get that small.

Think I might go for 10st 6lbs as it's exactly 4 stone lower thar I started.

Brilliant news, really pleased for you

My issue has been the opposite - I haven't been able to get mine off! And I still can't! Hopefully soon (not that I especially want to take them off, but I want to know that I can!)

How is everyone getting on? I started in the middle of October and Iโ€™m 5stone down. Feel so bloody good, knocked 11 points off my BMI and Iโ€™m running again. Have a before and after pic!! Went shopping yesterday and cried because that dress in seasalt is a size 16 - itโ€™s been years and years since Iโ€™ve managed that!!
