Weigh in number 9, jab day tomorrow, 1.3 lbs off this week, a little disappointed even though I really shouldnโ€™t be, back in the dark slimming world days I would be thrilled with 1lb!
SW - 19st 2.9 lbs
CW - 18st 1lb
christmas target - 17st 6lb

Still suffering with the ongoing constipation and although I hate laxatives I think I am going to have to resort to them at some point. Itโ€™s definitely not as bad as it was at the beginning though. Feel quite bloated today but that might be due to the amount of savoy cabbage I ate yesterday!

Argh! I ordered my 7.5 from med express last week and forgot to price match, it was delivered today. Also didnโ€™t realise that they now do codes for returning customers, thatโ€™ll teach me not to check!

Is the code for returning customers the one if you haven't had an order within the last 70 days or similar? Or a different one? Have you emailed re your price match too? They will definitely honour it judging by my cheeky email Grin

I've almost completed week 10, lost zero weight and blood sugar levels unchanged.

My GP has just prescribed me 7.5, hopefully that may work.

That must be so frustrating. I know you probably are but are you keeping a record of your calories? Drinking 2-3 lites of water? Eating high protein ?
I have been following Fast800 to give myself a weight loss boost and have lost more than twice the weight of my sister and cousin. If you have appetite suppression may be worth looking at for a few weeks.
Good luck.

qotsa · 26/11/2024 07:58

@Bluenose1966 there are some fab fast 800 recipes. I have the extra recipe book as well. Loved Michael I did. Have every book he published Daffodil

comewhinewith · 26/11/2024 08:01

Thanks @Bluenose1966 - I've done fast800 before and not lost any weight. I know this seems impossible - it's very frustrating.

I've told doctors for years that I don't have an appetite problem, even done fasting and that's had little difference.

I think my metabolism is messed up.

Mounjaro is mainly for blood sugar control, if I can get that sorted any weight loss will be a bonus.

Yes, the code is for โ€˜returningโ€™ customers, i.e. you order from elsewhere, then go back to them. I mistakenly thought as I order from them each month I was a returning customer, which technically I am ๐Ÿ˜
I contacted them last night via the contact us page with a screenshot and link to a cheaper supplier to ask for a price match and asked if they would honour the โ€˜double the differenceโ€™ promise. So fingers crossed! I was very politeโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Fizzleaway1 · 26/11/2024 08:54

Thought Iโ€™d try to be brave and post this side by side.

26lbs difference in 6 weeks. I actually feel very bloated today as itโ€™s that time of the month but you can still see a difference. However, not a single person has mentioned to me I look slimmer๐Ÿคฃ

@Fizzleaway1 amazing ๐Ÿคฉ you must feel fab too!

Gilly1C · 26/11/2024 09:50

@Fizzleaway1 Oh my goodness, well done you, what a difference

rockingbird · 26/11/2024 09:55

Amazing @Fizzleaway1 well done!!

Bluenose1966 · 26/11/2024 10:00

@Fizzleaway1 Big difference. I think it sometimes takes ages for people to realise you have lost weight.

Tohaveandtohold · 26/11/2024 10:03

@Fizzleaway1 what a difference, well done. Donโ€™t worry, Itโ€™ll start getting noticeable to others soon

That is an absolutely brilliant difference! It is so obvious a difference. Forget everybody else, do you feel the difference? Ultimately, thatโ€™s what counts.

it is possibly that you have a very lovely, polite group of friends who wouldnโ€™t dream of commenting on weightโ€ฆeven when youโ€™d like them to ๐Ÿ™‚

ItsMintUpNorth · 26/11/2024 10:21

@Fizzleaway1 wow that is amazing! You have to remember commenting on people's bodies is thankfully becoming much less acceptable so as annoying as it is when you are losing weight and want people to comment on it, people probably are actually noticing but being polite by not mentioning it.

YummyCookie · 26/11/2024 10:52

I had a reply from ME about the double the difference, they wonโ€™t apply to any orders before 22nd ๐Ÿ™„

ArtfullyCrumpled · 26/11/2024 11:11

Wow @Fizzleaway1 what a difference.

Missreginafalange · 26/11/2024 11:22

Weigh in number 5, first week on 5mg.
SW 15.6
CW 14.1
GW 11 stone ish
5 pounds off this week, which i am staggered with as didn't feel like i did much different to last week where i struggled to lose anything.

Thats a total of 19 pounds in 5 weeks, so happy with that and am starting to see it off the scales too with clothing and my sausage fingers reducing ๐Ÿ˜

Just jabbed my 2nd 5mg into stomach again as this seems to be the best for me in terms of side effects etc. if you believe in different jab sites have different reactions etc.

@WafflingDreamer @MissSmith80 congratulations on the losses this week!

rockingbird · 26/11/2024 11:23

Morning all, spoke too soon yesterday.. the nausea was back this morning ๐Ÿ™ˆ I've felt very off all morning. Went swimming and sat in the steam room - only last 10 minutes as I was worried I'd throw up!! Fgs.. I thought I'd got away with it this week. I'm home having some boiled eggs to hopefully help me. The 5mg pen was very ambitious of me.

Missreginafalange · 26/11/2024 11:24

@Fizzleaway1 wowee you can really see the difference in your photos, well done!!

RunSlowTalkFast · 26/11/2024 11:52

Not sure if anyonr remembers me... 2.5mg didn't do anything for me but 5mg it's definitely kicking in! Took my 3rd 5mg on Thursday.

Original SW over a year ago: 14st 6lbs
Mounjaro SW: 12st 9lbs
CW: 12st 3lbs
GW: not sure!

Need to be 9st 12lbs to be a healthy weight but the lowest I've weighed in my adult life is almost a stone more than that so it sounds ridiculous to me!

I'm also convinced I'll have too much loose skin if I get that small.

Think I might go for 10st 6lbs as it's exactly 4 stone lower thar I started.

Iwouldratherbesinging · 26/11/2024 11:55

Thank you @DeltaAlphaDelta79, ME have just credited my account with ยฃ61.98!
luckily I ordered on the 22nd so got the double discount.
I wonder how long they will continue this for?

Iwouldratherbesinging · 26/11/2024 11:57

@Fizzleaway1 thats amazing! You must be very proud of yourself.

Fizzleaway1 · 26/11/2024 12:06

Thanks everyone. Iโ€™m not too bothered about others mentioning it although it would be nice. Iโ€™d rather people mentioned it when they could actually see a difference.

im actually prouder of what I had for breakfast after spending the night at the hotel. I normally go all out and this morning I had a small bowl of melon and 1 sausage with about 6 mushrooms. Thatโ€™s it! I still felt full from my dinner last night and Iโ€™m not even hungry now.

Bellablahhole · 26/11/2024 12:11

@Fizzleaway1 Amazing - what a difference!

Well done to everyone who have recently posted their losses. I'm so happy for you all.

littleburn · 26/11/2024 12:18

@RunSlowTalkFast I do remember you! So glad it's finally kicking in for you and well done for sticking with it. Appreciate it must have been so disheartening when every else was reporting losses ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I ordered my second 5mg from MedExpress on the 23rd, sent through a price comparison with The Private Pharmacy this morning and I've just had the double discount (ยฃ49) credited to my account.
