Miss Mounjaro UK has the most up to date price comparison charts: https://www.missmounjarouk.com/

I will be back in the morning to add all of the information I had spent an hour on earlier on the original thread 23 that sort of went bust but I've just not found time this evening.

I'll cover UTIs again, as well as add the images from Miss Mounjaro, and the list of possible side effects.

Not quite the start to thread 23 that I had planned for, but I do think it's very important that everyone who had successful losses in thread 22 gets a huge congratulations and well done.

Happy thread 23 everybody!

I'm having a great time on 15mg.

I think I'll reach my goal of seeing the scales start with a 13 by Christmas. Nearly there!

snickleback · 24/11/2024 22:38

Anyone who has order from IQ Doctor... my order status on the dashboard is now saying 'Order Assembly' - does that mean it's been approved?? I haven't had any email to follow up from the selfies/extra info I uploaded or anything, and as I'm vv close to healthy BMI now wasn't sure if they'd accept me.
Also, if it HAS been approved, does anyone know if their standard Royal Mail delivery needs to be signed for or will postie leave in safe place?

Forevafatty · 24/11/2024 23:25

I know it's really late, but I'm having a mini late night panic! I'm hoping if I write it here, I might be able to put it out of my mind and sleep.

Up until 7.5mg I was constipated all the time, but since moving up I now have diarrhea for a couple of days some weeks. I take Immodium and carry on. I've cut my dose from 10 because it made me feel too unwell, and now take 8.5. I just thought this was a known side effect and just a bit of a pain.

I've read somewhere tonight that diarrhea can be a sign of gallbladder problems. Is that right? Is anybody else just carrying on with some periods of diarrhea? And also, is it ok to take Immodium for one day most weeks? Thank you for any advice. I'm so grateful for this thread as I have nobody yo ask in real life!

Pumpkinforever · 24/11/2024 23:46

@LaurieFairyCake great journey! I am planning a 6 month if all goes well I will be a wobble monster too 🤞🏻

QueenOfHiraeth · 25/11/2024 00:03

@Forevafatty I know the plural of anecdote is not data but my first symptom of gall bladder problems was pain. The only GI symptom I had was dark wee and pale poo apparently as the bile salts, which normally drain into the intestines and give poo it's colour, get backed up behind the gallstones and are processed via the blood and kidneys.
Try not to worry, I know it's hard as I was convinced last week that an episode of discomfort was the start of something horrid but it passed and, hopefully your worries will too. Diarrhoea is a known side effect so, hopefully, it's nothing significant

LaurieFairyCake · 25/11/2024 05:45

PumpkinForever

Thanks Flowers

For everyone not eating I'm basically putting up with eating 400-600 calories the first couple of days and going off food after 3 bites to 'normal' 800 calories for me the last few days.

I had such good suppression with my 10mg last time I didn't take my next injection for 13 days.

InspectorGidget · 25/11/2024 09:56

Morning!

29 weeks in.

43.5lb down.
SW 236.8lbs
CW 192.9lbs
GW - 154lbs

I'm over halfway to goal now!

Next mini goal is to weigh less than DH!

My 6th week on 7.5mg and had my best loss of 4.5lbs this week and I've really felt the suppression this week too.

People are really starting to notice now and I'm feeling so much better and positive in general.

4 more official weight ins till Christmas but we have lots of lovely things on in December so I'm happy with where I'm at and anything between now and New Year is a bonus so I'll stay at 7.5mg now and see what January brings.

Hi @snickleback
I ordered yesterday from IQ Doctor and got an email advising order is being processed. Dashboard says "pending"

Well done @TheShellBeach, that's great!

@Forevafatty How are you feeling today, any better?

Hello! Sorry for not replying sooner - I fell asleep and then got up so early for work. I'm absolutely fine today, thank you, so it only lasted about 6 hours.

Your message was very reassuring, thank you! I think it's fine as I've no pain, and only feel ill for a day or so after injecting each week.

TheShellBeach · 25/11/2024 13:05

My BMI was 50 when I started.

It's 35 now.

I'll see if I can dig out some photos.

BellaCriesAndThatsAlright · 25/11/2024 15:30

Random question. Anyone had a mammogram after losing loads of weight? I have my annual one coming up (have them annually due to family history) and I'm freaking out as I read that weight loss can mean you are called back.

PermanentTemporary · 25/11/2024 15:33

@BellaCriesAndThatsAlright I haven't and I don't know for sure, but my guess would be that it's unexplained or unexpected weight loss that would result in greater surveillance.

GlueNoGlue · 25/11/2024 16:19

@TheShellBeach that’s amazing well done! You and I started at the exact same weight, it feels amazing doesn’t it? I’m really struggling to picture how I look now, it just doesn’t feel real!

rhubay · 25/11/2024 16:36

TheShellBeach · 25/11/2024 11:50

Well done @TheShellBeach that's fantastic 😻 😊

TheShellBeach · 25/11/2024 19:00

I haven't got a picture of me in January.
I started trying to lose weight then, but not with Mounjaro.

I had lost 2 stone by the end of June, and I was so discouraged, and desperate to eat..................and then I thought I'd try Mounjaro.

So the photo on the left is me on June 30th, when I applied for MJ first.

The photo on the left is me a few days ago, another 4 stone down (in just under 5 months).

I can't see any difference, but I'm now a size 16. In January, I was a size 24.

I honestly don't think I look any different. although I'm 4 stone down in the picture on the right. And my clothes are all much smaller.

I think it's to do with the distance from the mirror, too.
This is my September picture, where I think I can see a difference.

Actually - looking at it, I look exactly the same.
