Oh yes the magnificent (or enormous matronly) bosom had deflated a bit. Still huge though.

The GG/H cup bras are looking a little spacious now. Luckily I have bras in pretty much every size, so can move back down. Would love to get back to an E or F. The only trouble is the sagging as they deflate.

I am your boob twin and also have bras in every size. My boobs were the one part of my body that I have always been proud of, so I am refusing to give them up and will wear my H cup for as long as I can keep jiggling them into a filled cup position😃

MabelSpan · 04/11/2024 12:32

Hi everybody!

Weigh day, jab day and 4wkly measurement day for me!

SW 14th Aug 24 - 20st 3lbs
CW 4th Nov 24 - 18st 1.8lbs
WL 1.2lbs
TL 2 stone 1.2lbs this means I have lost just over 10% of my body weight!😃

My average weekly loss over the last 12 weeks is 2.43lbs per week which is just where I want it to be, if I am being sensible, but more would make me smile a big smile😀

Wk12/wk3 4.25mg (injected today) -1.2lbs, Wk11/wk2 4mg -1lb, Wk10/wk1 1.25mg -4.4lbs
Wk9 Bonus dose cock up 10.83mg -0.6lbs
Wk8/wk4 3.75mg -0.2lbs, Wk7/wk3 3.75mg -2.4lbs, Wk6/wk2 5mg -4.2lbs, Wk5/wk1 5mg -2.8lbs
Wk4 Bonus Dose 3.25mg -2.6lbs
Wk3 2.5mg -2.4lbs, Wk2 2.5mg - no loss, Wk1 2.5mg -7.4lbs
Wk0 1st 2.5mg injection 14th August 2024.

I have lost a total of 15.4 inches from my shoulders to my bum. I am still wearing size 24 but my old comfy 26 bottoms just fall off now. Hopefully another 10lbs and I will drop a dress size. Its a long old road I am on but as long as the food noise stays away I will keep plodding on. Only about six and a half stone to go! Less if I look like a melted candle before that!😁

Fingers crossed my little increase to 4.25mg will be a positive, nausea free experience!🙏

owlyboo · 04/11/2024 12:42

Well done @MabelSpan !!

lmmj15 · 04/11/2024 12:54

NSV for me today…bought a pair of size 14 leggings from Next a few weeks ago the waist looked tiny but I tried them on and I couldn’t get them past my thighs…tried them on this morning and fit like a dream 😊

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/11/2024 13:12

@MargoLivebetter well done

@CremeDeSudo have you tried any sickness tablets /cures ?

Have you gone to the doc about low blood pressure ? Maybe get some anti sickness tankers and see how you are after that

I keep saying it but strange how we alll react so different around mj

@troppibambini6 well done on 2st

weaseleyes · 04/11/2024 13:13

Well done @MabelSpan ! And good luck @Pinkjenny!

My joints have been feeling a bit more painful recently, so perhaps the additional benefits of MJ are wearing off a little, which is a shame. I may boldly try to go up to 4.3 again this week (currently at a heady 4).

Morning everyone!

Hope you're all doing well.

Stepped on the scales this morning and I'm another 2lbs down! I honestly was thinking that I'd either gained or stayed the same!

It being half term last week, there was more crappy food consumed than I'd like to admit, little bags of haribos, cakes etc, which I really shouldn't indulge in.

So overall, very happy even if my weight loss has now slowed down.

33lbs down now
SW 15 stones 8lbs
CW 13 stones 3lbs

Exactly the same here - 33lbs down since I started at the end of Aug. Delighted. You know that’s the weight of an average three year old child 😳😳. We’ve been carrying the equivalent of a toddler around for the last few years 😆.

One three year old down and a four year old to go 🤣🤣

Well done on the losses everyone and sorry to hear some of you are struggling. Hope you feel better soon 💐

CremeDeSudo · 04/11/2024 13:19

Thanks for the replies all

I've tried Kwells, they didn't really do much. I've ordered some different ones from Amazon that are arriving today and hoping they'll be better.

Haven't spoken to anyone about my blood pressure as there isn't anything they can do about it and it's not technically low, it's just borderline. I've always had head rushes if I get up too quickly but it's definitely worse since I've got up to 5mg. I'm probably not eating enough either.

Looking forward to coming off MJ now!

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/11/2024 13:21

@Princessandthepie well done

eeeeeeeee · 04/11/2024 13:23

I went to the theatre on Saturday and had 2 cocktails. This was my first alcoholic drink since August!

Firstly I felt nauseous. The 1st drink was a pink martini and 2nd drink was an espresso martini - it was like drinking paint stripper. I didn’t get tipsy either which I was expecting as I don’t have a high tolerance for it.

Secondly I’m worried about weighing myself. I don’t think I overate but I haven’t had a healthy couple of days. I have probs gained or maintained with the alcohol!

Princessandthepie · 04/11/2024 13:27

Thank you @Mum0ntherun and @Blondeshavemorefun!

It's crazy when you compare your weight loss to the weight of a child!

Is it wrong to weigh my dd5 later and then lift her up to see how I'm doing? 🤣

NippyCrab · 04/11/2024 14:08

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/11/2024 08:44

@WorriedRelative many tops gap I find. I'm Also of magnificent bosum which is getting deflated and saggy 🥲

@NippyCrab 6. Omfg. Max. Why

Knob head and brats. I can tell you love them immensely 😂

Did you breed off one and kept two puppies

No i have 3 and my friend has 3 and we met up. Despite my dramatic stories they are very well behaved (mostly) I don't breed, a few of my friends do and show.
X

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/11/2024 14:42

That makes more sense. I couldn't imagine having 6 dogs !!

Changinghabits1973 · 04/11/2024 14:52

NippyCrab · 03/11/2024 19:10

@Changinghabits1973 can you wear goggles swimming to protect the lashes? It's not the comfort meals I'm slevering at, it's the puddings! Apple crumble with toffee sauce, or toffee pudding 🍮 i need to stay off Instagram. Thing is, I'd make it and waste it. I might make one this week when DH is home and have a wee bit. Your dinner sounds lovely.

@MabelSpan have you increased your dose again? I've had one of my meds increased and having weekly check in apps with my GP, she says at this time of year it's very common to be low with the shorter days. I can't remember what the name is for it, could it be a combination of MJ, being tired and short days? If you are Peri are you on HRT. Sorry for the intrusive questions, feeling low is a horrible feeling. X

@Blondeshavemorefun i don't think I could eat any cake now it just doesn't appeal at all. I used to love cake 🎂 or a few lol. Everything is sweet, I buy the highest cocoa dark chocolate so it's not sugary. Even looking at milk chocolate does nothing, I could have polished off a giant dairy milk to myself before.

I had 2 walks today, one was so bad I can't even tell you how bad 🤣 so the boys got taken back home and put in the kitchen and me and my wee chocolate chip girl went a lovely walk ourselves. There were some Halloween bits left from a kids trail so I've attached one pic that was really quite freaky 😨

They said that goggles MAY help, but following my mini meltdown about them I am ok with not having them done now !!! Have just bought myself some eyelash curlers and an underwater MP3 player which will hopefully arrive in a couple of days !!! Am so pleased now i have gone for that choice as I think i am going to get more benefit out of the new toy than the eyelash lift !! Being able to listen to my own cheesy music whilst swimming as i am there a lot each week is making me feel super warm inside !!!

Your pics were amazing by the way .....

OMG - apple pie & custard?!!!! YESSS... that is probably the only desert i would actually eat - i don't and never have liked cakes at all; although i do bake them for the house ! I don't think i have eaten a slice of cake for example since i was a child.... think i am in the "unique" category !!! x

@Changinghabits1973 I’ve had SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) for decades. I get really blue in Nov, Christmas cheers me up in Dec, and then I plummet in Jan and Feb. About 10 years ago I bought a SAD lamp and it has really helped take the edge off it. This might help: https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/uk/product-reviews/health-leisure/g46198729/best-sad-lamps/

Thanks for taking the time to post this information.... I actually think i am going to get one after doing a little bit of research today - thank you so much for the recommendations and link ! It's appreciated x

NippyCrab · 04/11/2024 14:56

I didn't know there was such a gadget as an underwater music system, yay that's a fab gift to yourself. Do you do the breast stroke or crawl? I've never learned how to do the breast stroke I'd love to learn, I've always done the crawl. I had a hip replacement 10 years ago and was advised not to do it but I'm sure it would be okay now.

Changinghabits1973 · 04/11/2024 15:03

@NippyCrab I am laughing imagining your dramatic morning! Dogs, nature, people - bah! Terrible combination!

@Changinghabits1973 following from your name.. I wonder what you can do to change your habits? Your pizza was glorious and amazing and delicious, and you don't want to forgo that forever. But you said that initially, after 2 slices, you were fine. I can bet that the first mouthful was simply the best, the first slice was glorious, the second slice was pretty good. Then what? You stopped. That is the moment to act. Bundle it up. Stick it in the freezer, or the bin, or the compost heap under the worms and the slugs, You know you didn't want or need any more. So create some habits about getting rid of the rest. (OK maybe keep one half slice out for 'later' just to stop you getting the rest out of the bin or the compost heap.)

If you learn those new 'getting rid of' habits, there is no reason why you can't order a pizza occasionally.

I was actually thinking about your quote whilst i was swimming earlier this morning; it is so right what you say - the first slice was amazing, the second was pretty good and i should of stopped as i was completely satisfied .... I am taking on board everything you said in your post - I don't like wasting food, never have, but its more wasteful in my body than in the bin !!! The 2 slices that i actually left from the pizza i had no hesitation whatsoever of putting that in the bin - before MJ if i hadn't eaten it all i would have definitely covered it over and heated it up the following day ... so in a way I need a gold star for putting the 2 slices in the bin!!

You honestly gave me a lot to think about today that if it happens again, i will be more than happy to put a couple of slices away in the freezer etc, or just bin them !

Today has been a good day, went swimming at 6.30am for a couple of hours, then worked, now sorting some clothes out for charity, had 4 new items delivered from Vinted this morning and they are lovely - so looking forward to wearing them and having mushroom stir fry with 4 meatballs for dinner !!

Hope your day is going good as well hun xx

I actually didn't realise they did that either !!! But I saw someone in the pool last week and had the courage to ask them what it was ?!! She told me where she had got it from and how long they should last etc and it was under £20 so I hope it will be ok... it will just be my luck that it will flipping flood or break after the first time of using it !!! But we shall see...

I only do breast stroke !!! And, i would LOVE to be able to do front crawl the majority of the time - i just can't do it !!! I tried at the weekend to do a bit, but i couldn't get my breathing right and then after about 4 strokes nearly ended up choking !! Am envious that you can do it !! x

Hey boob twin! 🤣

When I noticed weight loss from the boobs I panicked a bit on case weight went from them disproportionately as I have always found they are good for disguising the stomach!!

CrazyGoatLady · 04/11/2024 16:44

@Changinghabits1973 I have been thinking a lot too about food "messages" - certain foods are "treats" and therefore we treat them differently, prize them above other foods, etc. And we are more reluctant therefore to leave any or "waste" them. It's definitely hard to overcome that mindset especially if we have grown up with strong messages about it being wrong to waste food.

Maybe that is why I put on so much weight, as I could never see my stomach, boobage only😂Thats now my excuse!

Omg that is so true what you say... that's exactly how I felt ... Just hadn't registered until now.. thank you so much 😊
How is your food noise and journey on MJ going? X

Ithinkimrincewind · 04/11/2024 17:28

Hi query for you knowledgeable lot. So I stayed with the 1 provider but they have no information about how long I can take mj for/ what BMI etc. I remember someone saying they went with Oushk or something like that. Are they good? Plus if they ask for candid photos, what exactly are they looking for?! Thanks

weaseleyes · 04/11/2024 17:29

I genuinely think it is terrible to waste food. Partly it's how I was brought up (grandparents and parents had experienced rationing), but now I think this really strongly for environmental reasons. That said, it's completely true that me eating to excess isn't much better or more virtuous! I've been working really hard not to buy too much, not to let food go off, not to prepare too much or put too much on my plate, and thinking about ways I can freeze or save food I don't want. That way, I'm trying to lean in to the bit of me that doesn't want to waste food without using this as an excuse to eat it as a preventative measure!

weaseleyes · 04/11/2024 17:32

@Ithinkimrincewind Candid means showing off your actual shape, so tight fitting clothes (rather than scantily clad!). I just wore a tight fitting t shirt and leggings rather than my usual bulge-skimming tents. They often want a side view and a front view, so a full length mirror shot
