Pinkjenny · 26/10/2024 12:36

Well done everyone! We're all getting there!

Makelikeatreeandleaf · 26/10/2024 12:52

Thank you for the advice all Flowers. I think I will count clicks and go up today, fingers crossed that does the trick. @CrazyGoatLady my sleep is indeed poor. I think drinking more water would help too and less wine. Shall get focused this week.

Addictedtobeauty · 26/10/2024 12:55

NSV for me today (just as well because the scales sts!) - had to get OH to put in a couple of new belt holes. Chuffed with that and will keep on keeping on. Happy Saturday vibes to all, may your weekend bring you positive weight loss goals.

Glittermoonlight · 26/10/2024 13:00

Congratulations @owlyboo - what a great loss!
@4pink1blue & @Pinkjenny you both are looking fabulous!

CrazyGoatLady · 26/10/2024 13:16

@Pinkjenny love those trousers!

@4pink1blue great work - you can really see the difference

Thanks @owlyboo and @MabelSpan
The fitness improvements are a big motivation. Things just don't feel so hard any more. Although I wish I could say I was equally motivated with my housework and that didn't feel as hard 😂

Pinkjenny · 26/10/2024 13:19

Obviously I wouldn't wear them with no make up on and my pyjama top 😂😂

owlyboo · 26/10/2024 13:19

Well done @Addictedtobeauty ! Great nsv!

Thanks @Glittermoonlight

Wingingit11 · 26/10/2024 13:24

@Princessandthepie no one is imposing! I do find it very hard to keep up though - not sure why it’s so hard on this thread and also have lost sight a bit of who’s here and who’s not!

Oofffft my wee heid can't keep up, I've read every post and omg everyone has amazing losses and NSV's to report, loving this!
@4pink1blue you are looking rather slimcia there lovely, I bet that felt amazing!
@AdeloreSmore I'm giggling at the cat with a strawberry flavoured arsehole I'm so using that expression haha.
@CrazyGoatLady @Addictedtobeauty @Glittermoonlight @Motnight and @owlyboo loving all these and Owl that is such a fabulous loss and you're in the 12 zone 💪
@Pinkjenny i love these, love the colour I'm right into green at the moment.
@Makelikeatreeandleaf I'm the same I need to drink a lot more water going forward, when I think back i was definitely drinking more fluids at the start.
@WitchDancer aw that's sounds a lovely day, what's a wooly hug?
@weaseleyes it's a very interesting topic to read about, what actually happens in our body. I did mention i was going to check this book I have so I will do it now.
@VioletCrawleyForever 2 stone is bloody fabulous, I'm still waiting on a pound now lol it better drop off so I can say yippee I've lost 2 stone 😅
@Changinghabits1973 I've had some nausea at the beginning and managed to control it mostly with peppermint capsules and tea and ginger and honey tea. I sympathise because I think it's the worst side effect and I'm dreading moving up a dose, it also makes me fatigued which I definitely don't need. Hugs I hope it passes quick.
@Wingingit11 @Princessandthepie it's super fast today and with a lot of content in the posts and I want to reply to them all haha. It gets a tad confusing and then I don't want to miss anyone out by not tagging.
I'm now home, we had a short walk again and I'm having mint tea and I've got my throw over me on the couch haha. Xx

Wingingit11 · 26/10/2024 14:11

@NippyCrab that’s completely the danger isn’t it that people are not acknowledged! Some Great tagging above!

Well, I've just come back to earth with a bump. Needed to get my passport photo done. I did my hair and makeup and thought I was looking pretty good. Dear Lord, I think I need a face-lift, what a shocker of a photo. I've spent the last hour asking DH if I really look this bad in real life!

poppym12 · 26/10/2024 15:27

Just checking in and I can't believe how quickly the thread moves! I've actually left the house today (still feel like crap but all I've done this week is sleep, sneeze and sweat).

Some amazing losses and NSV's. I'm taking this week's drop in weight with a pinch of salt as my diet has been crap. Hardly eaten some days then had quick, easy food on other days.

Went to a shopping outlet earlier and managed to get some of the items I bought in shops in spring but in a smaller size. I haven't tried anything on yet (not feeling brave enough) but I can't carry on wearing the jeans and trousers I'd previously bought as they're way too big. Ah, what a wonderful problem to have.

Next week's plan is to get my diet back to the healthy stuff, increase protein and drink even more water. Today I've drunk coffee and eaten a Cornish (veg) pasty so not particularly nutritious at all.

poppym12 · 26/10/2024 15:29

I feel your pain @Snoopsteandcooper. In the bright shop lights earlier, I caught sight of myself in one of the mirrors and it looks like my lower face is melting.

weaseleyes · 26/10/2024 16:39

Glad you're on the mend @poppym12.

I avoid mirrors and photos most of the time, and seldom wear make-up, so I know my face best from the bathroom mirror when I'm about to brush my teeth or I'm checking my hair isn't too crazy. To me, this is what my face looks like. Photos are different from reflections and often you're either having to assume weird passport face or you're captured talking, and it's just so different. Not only do I always look worse than I think, it's just the difference from my bathroom mirror face I can't bear. If I see a photo I feel overcome by its wrongness and everyone's going oh, you look fine, what's the problem, which makes it feel worse! I'm expecting everyone to agree with me and say yeah, that's nothing like you - terrible photo.

NippyCrab · 26/10/2024 16:43

@Wingingit11 I know, it takes me a while to scroll up and down 😂

@Snoopsteandcooper those photos are the worst in the world, I don't know a single person who's got a good one.
@poppym12 remember you've been ill. Face melted haha.

Well we are going to the chippy soon 🐟🍟 it's been ages since we've had one and usually when DH suggests it I'm like nah, but my mouth is fair shaped for a wee fish supper.

I need to decide what dose to increase to tomorrow. Will I err of the side of caution and do a 3mg or be wild and do a 3.75 and suck up any side effects?

Wingingit11 · 26/10/2024 17:07

@NippyCrab go wild and 3.75 I say 😄 how have your losses/ side effects been ?

@NippyCrab go wild and 3.75 I say 😄 how have your losses/ side effects been ?

I'm stuck at the same weight for 4 weeks and still have 2 stone to go. My side effects were mostly fatigue and because I suffer from that anyway I didn't want to risk it being worse. At the moment I'm no longer losing where I was 1.5 to 2 a week, my last woosh was 3lbs. I admit I haven't been good in terms of water intake. When I took the last bonus dose which would be about 3.3mg my mood was low, bad and my medication was increased as the GP thought it was more winter related as in the weather making me agitated rather than the MJ. I do have 2 MH conditions and they are very well controlled with 2 medications.
I'm such a lightweight, I should do a poll:

3mg
3.25
3.5
3.75

Just checking in...after feeling so rubbish for the last couple of days as per my post earlier...
Thank you to everyone who replied and sent best wishes, and also gave some really informative remedies for me and advice etc... its SO appreciated... 😘

Well done to EVERYONE since this mornings pages on their losses, NSV and some nice pics people are sharing who look amazing ... sending lots of love..

So after a couple more green teas this morning and thinking my nausea was eventually subsiding, I decided to go back to the pool as haven't been since Tuesday as i have been busy / feeling rubbish the remainder of the week and managed a really nice swim for an hour, plus spent some time in the sauna and steam room - came out feeling refreshed BUT whilst swimming i was thinking what i could treat myself to for my next mini milestone of 3 stones loss (have 3 pounds to lose to get there...) SO i went upstairs to the spa whilst i was there and enquired about an eyelash lift and tint ! So that is what my reward is going to be, apparently lasts for several weeks and my eyelashes are quite low and small so they say I will really benefit from that !! YAY !!!

Then this afternoon even had the energy for a walk around a lovely craft fair local to me and got a few little bits (all proceeds were going to Diabetes and Mental Health charities) and then had a wander around a photographic exhibition and out of 100 enlarged pics was asked to choose my favourite 5 and the pictures that people had taken were absolutely stunning... I thoroughly enjoyed it !

I have even managed some dinner tonight; had a lovely omelette with some nice cooked chicken, red onion and a bit of sweet chilli sauce... was lush!!

So think am over the worse now and so pleased i managed to get out of the house and not feeling sorry for myself !

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone xx

Snoopsteandcooper · 26/10/2024 17:50

@Changinghabits1973 that sounds like a nice treat. What a brilliant weight loss, well done you! Hope you are on the mend now!

Wingingit11 · 26/10/2024 17:57

@NippyCrab Hm tricky, maybe 3.25 then and see how that feels?
