@Fuffedoff I had this with med express

It was about a month ago as my 5 pen and we had a very hot rare weekend

Royal Mail missed me sat early am

They don't deliver Sunday and it came Monday

Been sat in a hot van

I complained. First they said it was fine as under think 30

I said it has been very hot and wanted a replacement

They did send one the next day

NEVER EVER order at end of week as they do sometimes send out sat which means you don't get till Monday

I always order now sun online knowing tney will approve Monday and send to me mon /Tue to get to me wed thur

Or even Fri but usually early week

itwasnevermine · 07/10/2024 15:16

@Timetochange24 yeah same here! It's so weird, and not ideal

Pinkjenny · 07/10/2024 15:34

Mine arrived melted today too as they had tried to deliver yesterday but we were out. I've emailed ZAVA but it should be ok I think.

Wingingit11 · 07/10/2024 07:26

@Manypaws hopefully it’ll clear today 🙏 did you go from 2.5 to5?

Yes, was so sick today that I had to come home from work

Timetochange24 · 07/10/2024 16:07

Royal mail took 3 days to deliver my last pen (I was watching move between delivery offices with the tracking number). It was melted but still cool, and it was a very cold week, so I was fine with it, but I would have asked for a replacement in a hotter week.

Wingingit11 · 07/10/2024 16:10

@Manypaws oh no! So sorry to hear that. Maybe it’s a bug? Though I am feeling quite dodge today from what’s I’ve assumed raising dose

Oh no! Sounds like a bug. Take it easy.

WorriedRelative · 07/10/2024 16:37

Well I think I have answered my own question now. Just took 5.0mg as my bonus dose and felt the effect almost immediately.

Headache and indigestion.

Have had two Rennie and an ibuprofen, and will stick with 5.0mg for another month, if I struggle I can always use some of the bonus to increase to 6mg or something.

WitchDancer · 07/10/2024 17:58

Evening all. After a very long conversation with DH I've ordered another 5 to see how I go. If I have the same side effects then I'll just either split the dose or count clicks to reduce it.

For now I'm delaying my bonus dose until tomorrow as I've had my flu jab today and one prick a day is quite enough thank you!

Arraminta · 07/10/2024 18:03

Me too! I ordered my next 5mg last Thursday and it arrived Friday lunchtime, but the icepack thingy was melted and only felt cool. Really odd?

Arraminta · 07/10/2024 18:09

Fuffedoff · 07/10/2024 14:47

Afternoon!

I took my 5mg dose on Saturday and have been feeling some hunger at times- previous weeks, I had nausea and some reflux but this seems to have subsided.

I'm starting to wondering whether I actually need to eat more to lose the weight.

The last two days, I made sure I went for a walk and counted over 10,000 steps. I think moving forwards I'm going to aim for 7500 steps daily then increase to 10,000 and so on.

I ordered a 7.5mg pen on Friday and it's only arrived today and it isn't cold, everything has melted. I've sent an email to Curate but not keeping my hopes up.

Has anyone had this before/what was the outcome/what are my rights?

This is me (apart from the nausea) wondering if I'm just not eating enough? Today all I've had is a prawn sandwich on wholegrain bread, apple, small Greek yoghurt with honey and a protein bar. Only drank two pints of water and several coffees. This is fairly typical for me and I'm not hungry but I think it's too few calories?

Mj covid flu

I had 3 pricks Friday 😛😛😛

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/10/2024 18:58

@Arraminta that's nothing to eat - not suprised feel dizzy /not right

Other thing is unless you are never going to eat again 3 meals uou will gain weight as soon as you stop mj

As you aren't retraining body to eat better healthier foods

You just aren't eating enough

Sorry x

Wingingit11 · 07/10/2024 19:01

Probably depends on calories overall though @Arraminta eg if a stacked sandwich you might be well over 1000 cal over the day. I only tend to eat two meals generally as loosely following IF

What can I say @Blondeshavemorefun I'm just a whimp! 😂

itwasnevermine · 07/10/2024 19:14

@Arraminta I'm the same as you. Not broken 1100 today and I'm only above 1000 because I've had a biscuit!

Yes, I think you're right, though I'm not feeling dizzy or unwell (think that was someone else?). I'm going to try upping my calories and see what happens.

It was just an average sandwich, about 385 calories according to the packaging. I also loosely follow IF, never eat breakfast and only really eat between 12 and 7pm.

itwasnevermine · 07/10/2024 19:42

That was me feeling dizzy 👋🏻

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/10/2024 19:43

Sorry May have mixed you up with another poster not eating much feeling faint

But

The same thing applies

Eating

a sandwich an apple
Protein bar

Isn't sustainable in the long run

I'm not saying I eat the perfect stuff

Usually do 2 meals but since 7.5 might have brunch and tea

But they are good meals

I couldn't eat one small meal and a protein bar /shake to replace another

itwasnevermine · 07/10/2024 19:51

I started with good intentions but just couldn't get my breakfast down, but I'm planning better meals for tomorrow and hopefully it helps.

weaseleyes · 07/10/2024 19:52

@Arraminta It's hard to tell how many calories are in that, but it doesn't sound terribly nourishing. I'm someone who probably eats at the lower end of daily calories as I'm very short and am a seral dieter, so nothing else works. I tend to eat between 800-1000 per day. But I'm struck by how little real food, especially veg, you eat. I'm a vegetarian (so biased!), but have to eat a bit more dairy than I normally would to get the calories/protein. I had two eggs for breakfast with tomato, cucumber and lots of spinach; homemade veg soup with cheese and Greek yoghurt; then tofu, quinoa and broccoli for tea, with some brazil nuts. This was about 900 calories but had a lot more veg and fibre than your day. I think if you're going to subsist on a low level of calories it's better if they don't come from small processed things like protein bars.

Wingingit11 · 07/10/2024 19:55

@weaseleyes @Blondeshavemorefun I don’t disagree and would love to have rounded meals every day but if you are out at work all day etc grabbing a protein bar is an easy way to get calories in !
@Arraminta I think IF works well with MJ - not just suppressant wise but also if I understand correctly the interplay between effect on insulin

Just innetly laughed to myself that my quick grab has moved from McDonald’s to a protein bar/ shake
