Welcome, August starters ! Can’t believe we are on thread 5🫣

Scoffed some chocolate when I got in tonight.

Absolutely think I'm just totally run down and not coping with other stress. Compared to how I used to eat when I felt like this, I'm not mad! Also think that because I hit a little capillary when I did my injection this week, the effect hasn't been as good as it usually is

I reduced my dose this Monday from 5mg (did that for 2 weeks) to 3.75mg too. I was getting nausea which although wasnt too bad, it was enough to put me off that dose for a while.
On Tuesday I had some nausea again, so took a cyclizine, which fixed it this time and today I have been fine.
Food noise is still silent and supression is good but not OTT, I can eat my food comfortably.
I am looking forward to seeing how this week plays out.
I would love to stay on 3.75mg!😊

@MabelSpan hope you’re okay now! I’d hate to go through this feeling nauseous.

I wonder if other factors may be at play that influence how we are all responding, for example I don’t take any other medication. So I’m not on contraception, and my periods haven’t been impacted. I wonder if the people who are facing changes to their periods are taking contraception for example.

Sat here thinking about this, has anyone else experienced this? My theory is that it just sits in the bruise as opposed to being absorbed but I could be way off base 😂 I seem to bruise myself a lot, but never as bad as this. I'm thinking I'll try a thigh injection this week and see how that goes

My food noise has been rubbish today. I haven't really made good choices although I've stayed in a deficit. I'll see what the loss is but I might order the 7.5.

If you’ve stayed in a deficit how rubbish could they have been?! Stress not.

Oh... last night was eventful!

TMI warning!!

Woke up at 3.30am with awful diarrhoea then again at 4am, full sweats and then also vomiting... YUMMY!

Don't actually think it was MJ related, I think I may have ate something dodgy as, as soon as I vomited it was like a switch and I've been fine since.

Changed my walk this morning and thankfully still fine! Loving this weather, sunny but with a little chill!

oh poor you @eeeeeeeee glad you’re feeling better. I had similar (no vomiting but felt v sick) but think it was high fibre combined with a long walk. Likewise felt a lot better afterwards. Weird weather, my daughter went to school in a jumper with raincoat but has sun cream and hat in her bag

Glad you feel better today @owlyboo. It's so hard not knowing whether to attribute everything to MJ or not! Sounds like a weird episode and probably something you ate or a bug.

Feeling a bit blurgh today.

I did the 5mg bonus dose yesterday afternoon. Made a chicken curry for dinner but used a sauce jar and now all I can taste is curry as I'm very burpy this morning. I didn't over eat, just had a small portion all weighed out I don't feel sick/nauseous but don't feel great.

Weight has stayed the same since Saturday, I'm at 13.13 and haven't been this weight for a good couple of years so it's nice to see the 13 stones on the scales. Not going to fuss over a few days on the same weight, as I've still lost 23lbs in 2 months!

Thanks @FlappingMadly @weaseleyes! Yeah I think it's easy to be like 'oh that must be MJ' but I definitely don't think it was, 🤞 anyway! I suppose at least it has solved my constipation for a while 😂 every cloud and all that!

The suppression is back today! Had a toastie in Costa and can't see myself eating till tea time, what a strange day yesterday!

Also had my first "wow! You've lost weight" today from my brother who I've not seen since I started, so that was nice

Ah @itwasnevermine what a lovely feeling that must have been! Better than any scale!

So nice because he's not complimentary either!!! He had been whining that my dad was telling him because he was jealous, and then he saw me and was amazed!!

Afternoon. After much deliberation I've reordered another 5mg pen. The suppression has been decent on 5mg with zero nausea etc. The neverending period has finally stopped and my mood is back to normal, so I'm reluctant to rock the boat now.

Anyone else doing a 2nd month of 5mg?

Yes I am repeating 5mg. I’m due 3rd 4mg tomorrow. Undecided if I will continue like that.
