They have changed their referral system and now instead of getting three referrals and a free pen I will have to pay £91, which I know is cheap but was banking money wise on a free pen this month, it due to be shipped today or tomorrow so must have just missed out.

If you had earned your 3 referrals before they changed the system, I would argue that the pen should still be free. If the last referral was made after the change that’s a different story

All the threads on MN right now, I doubt any of them need referrals.

They gave no notice, I had 8 referrals in the bag for the last couple of weeks so should have had next two pens free and two after that half price.
They took the £91 from my account this morning.

Same for me! I had 3 on my account, said 100% off. Just logged on and now it's 60% off. Still cheap but annoying! It was the only reason I was staying with them because I was getting a month free here and there and 50% off otherwise!

So glad I cancelled a few weeks ago!

Definitely give them a call and argue you had already accumulated before they changed the scheme. Surely they have to honour the free pens

I got an email from them on Tuesday warning this was coming. This is what it said.

We wanted to let you know that we are updating our Refer A Friend offer.

From 19th September 2024, if you refer 1 friend you’ll get 30% off your next order, and if you refer 3 you’ll get 60% off your next order! This offer resets every month.

If you refer friends and they join before 19th September 2024, you will receive our previous offer (please see your account for more details).

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Interesting @MinervaMcGonagallsCat as according to that my original 100% off should still stand as I already had the three before 19th. But it definitely says 60% on my refer a friend section. Guess I'll have to see what they charge when I'm next due a pen and dispute it if they charge me £91

You should get in touch with them and query it. Make sure they honour it.

I've just dug that same email out, I had missed it in all the spam. I have replied to it. All my referrals were def before 19th, they are all over a month old at least. But they still took £91 out of my account this morning
I'm not surprised they have stopped the 100% off, it was a too good to be true offer but it was still offered to me and have made my journey affordable

They have answered that they will respond but are experiencing an increase in messages, no shit Sherlock, that'll be you changing the goal posts

It's been really obvious that their referral structure was ridiculous and unsustainable, I'm just surprised it took them so long to change it.

Another tip to know with Voy- if you go to cancel they will give you £50 off your next order (still seems more expensive than some thought but good if you don't want the hassle of changing)

I will wait ti see what they come back with, tbh it just makes we want to dump them

Is £91 not fairly cheap though overall? I can't see any other places selling it any cheaper.

I'm finding there refer a friend thing confusing, it says 30% for the first, 30% for the second (so 60%?) but then 60% for three. That doesn't really make sense.
Is it 60% for two or three? If not, why the same for 1 and 2?

Seems a bit muddled to me.

@Orangesandlemons77 it's 30% for the first one or two and then 60% for the third. I was confused at first as it's so badly worded but if 1 or 2 people use your code, you get 30% off etc

Wonder why they don't make it 45% for two, that would make more sense.

Oddly, I decided to cancel, changed my mind, when I started again it said 50% off due to a friends referral, maybe that was from before the change, So think I might stay with them for the next one, perhaps.

@Orangesandlemons77 NICE! All they offered me (repeatedly) was £50 off which was still way pre expensive than other places!

I cancelled. While ago and just got an email offering me 44% of if I rejoined. They also sent me an email with completely wrong information about my dosage (offering me 12.5mg when I was only on 5mg!) so I’m not so convinced about their organisation!

Sorry, I meant £50 not 50%. I agree it still turns out quite expensive.
