Mounjaro not working

I’ve been on Wegovy for a few months and it was brilliant. Barely any appetite at all. It’s £260 a month though so I thought I’d try MJ with all the good reviews it’s had and save myself a few £££!

I took my first 2.5mg on Wednesday and nothing. Not a sausage. Not even any side effects. In fact I took a second dose last night. Still nothing - no side effects or appetite suppression.

Anyone else it doesn’t work for? Should I persevere or go back to Wegovy?

@Gloryslife I see you've gotten some answers. I was thinking no one would see your post as it's hidden in an old thread, hence my suggestion to start a fresh thread to help, but looks like it's worked out for you. That's all good.

I gained, yes gained, .4 lbs on my first month of MJ. Don’t worry about it, in the early stages some people lose, some maintain, some gain…it’s what happens over the long term that matters. I’m going into month 6 and lose about 1.5 lbs / week now. Slow & Steady is fine for me.

Edited to add - please follow the directions and let it work as it’s supposed to, it’s a powerful medication but you need to give it time to ramp up.

Hi, at what dose did it start working for you?
I'm on 10mg currently and not lost anything yet, other than the same initial gain you had!

What are you eating? The weight will come off if you eat in a calorie deficit.
