@JomonotFomo 😱😱😱 I hadn’t thought about friends joining the FB groups!! 😩 Have just looked at the two I was in and there are about 20 friends of friends/wives of friends in them!!! I’m now OUT!!

Afternoon all. Some fantastic losses again in the last few days. Well done to those.
I did my 4th dose this morning of 2.5mg, but as I haven't really noticed much of a suppression yet so I did the 'hard twist' to access some of the bonus dose.
Bolt sent me 5 needles with the pen so I was able to use a proper one, but as I twisted hard I wasn't able to count any clicks, they sort of moved really quickly! I was hoping to get a 3.75 dose before moving up to 5 next week. I injected about half of the content of the pen judges by eye. Fingers crossed crossed for what happens next. 🤣🤞

I've only lost about one kg so far, but then again I haven't been religiously calorie counting with this first dose. I wanted to see what happened if I was eating consciously but fairly normally. I certainly haven't over eaten and I really haven't had the desire to over eat - which is quite novel.
I've been impressed with Bolt so far. Was able to order my 2nd pen after just over 2 weeks and was dispatched the same day.

@TheShellBeach do you share your code a lot, and anywhere else other than Mumsnet? No one has used mine this month, have shared a couple of times and only on here. Might have to move to someone else for the next pen as I can't afford Voy's full price.

@Sewfrickinamazeballs keep sharing it. I had given up hope and then mine got used. I don't even care about being annoying anymore while sharing it!

The thing is that you can't find out who used your code. Everyone on here has a user name (and on Twitter) and half of the people on FB are anonymous posters.

But I was surprised that I got my free pen so easily.

@Happycyclist I suppose it depends on how keen you are to keep it quiet! I hadn’t posted anything as was wary about having my real name floating about but was gobsmacked to see so many people only one person removed. One in particular was very interesting to see in there 😂

On facebook there was one person who injected the whole thing and one that used the same needle and wasn't getting an irritation.

Has anyone got any particular things they are looking forward to following the weight loss?

Mine are

1. Go to a theme park with my daughter and not be the bag carrier because I'm too scared in case I don't fit
2. I love sewing (hence the name) but don't make too many clothes as patterns for plus size are pretty limited and the extra fabric costs a lot! I also hate most clothes on myself at the moment and spending hours on something to not like it is heartbreaking.
3. Getting rid of the pain I get in my foot from walking. It's very much weight related.

Has anyone got any particular things they are looking forward to following the weight loss?

Not always being the fattest person in the room.

Being able to buy actual jeans, not jeggings or leggings.

Getting normal legs back. I hate my fat legs.

Hi. My pen has been shipped so I think it will be delivered today. (Thurs). I’ll be arriving home Thursday evening. I am planning on having Friday off work as I am travelling for work again from Monday morning until Thursday evening and I am then away again on the following Monday and Tuesday. One of my biggest issues is eating out so much because I’m away from home. Can anybody give me any ideas please of when might be the best time to take my first dose? I’m thinking about any side-effects. Am I best to take it on Friday morning to give me three days to get over any effect?

Many of us feel very tired and cold on Day 1-2 as your body gets used to it. Some get an upset stomach so I would time it to suit when best for you and your schedule. The 2.5mg first pen is a loading dose so some get no side effects. For me it hit within an hour I’d say I was a fast responder. I went cold turkey on eating sugar because I couldn’t and had a 3d headache with tiredness & felt full eating a small amount. I was glad I was home to rest more.

Moving to 5mg on Saturday (although I used the bonus to have maybe 4mg on Saturday) and I've lost a total of 10lb!

SW 15th June 13st 7lb
CW 12st 11lb

BMI is now 35 instead of 36.9 so still a long way to go...let's see what 5mg does! I'm starting to feel healthier so I'm going to try and get more exercise in now.

Third 5mg dose today.

SW 252.6 lb
CW 235 lb

Total loss: 17.6 lb

Just a 2 lb loss this week but I'm happy with that

Week six and the week five bonus dose didn't do much so I'm going up to five mg. Just injected - will see what happens. I was starving yesterday.. ate far too many crisps. Will be ordering a higher dose pen for the next one for sure.

@thesugarbumfairy that is amazing. I am SO nearly there - can't wait as that will feel significant. You must be delighted.

@IReallyNeedThisToWork I thought about it and decided that it was nobody else's business. Then I thought a bit more and remembered that a mid distance acquaintance of mine was in the process of losing a lot of weight (4 stones so far) and put 2+2 together.

This will be more common than I thought. Plus where I will be an obvious candidate (6+ stones eventually) there will be loads jut losing smaller weights..

@achangeofnameisasgoodasarest I hope you get there very soon. I am outrageously chuffed. My weight loss has always been so slow even when I'm so heavy - which is why I fall off the wagon and give up - but this time because of the drug I know I can keep chip chip chipping away at it.
