Day 4 - struggled to get to sleep a bit last night. No idea if related as does happen every so often. No other symptoms.

Still not feeling the quick full feeling/feeling fuller longer but still not really caring about food either. I can snack but have no desire too. So think this is a big win!

This is day 2 of me taking it. I've eaten 800 calories and not felt hungry once.

If anything I feel really full so weird !

That's bullshit, feel full. This is not placebo. Normally I could eat some chocolate 🍫 right about now.

Same here, Laurie. I feel really full. I haven't wanted a glass of wine - it hasn't occurred to me. When I've been to the supermarket I haven't been even slightly tempted to buy anything sweet. I haven't felt hungry. I felt sick on the day after I took it but that wasn't for long and it was manageable. I can't count the number of diets I've been on that haven't even lasted a week and they've all had in common the fact I kept thinking about food, what I really wanted, what I'd actually have, etc. I haven't really thought about it since I used the injection on Sunday. I wasn't expecting to feel the effect so quickly.

@vikingpooboat odd you say that yesterday afternoon I had a really painful lower back for a couple of hours , nothing today

I took my first 2.5 Mounjaro last night around 9pm. Like others, I had patiently (impatiently!) awaited delivery and when it came I nearly chickened out! No problem with needles, just worried about side effects.
I ordered from Bolt Pharmacy for £125 and it was with me within 2 days. Had to send a picture which was certainly a spur to get on my FINAL weight loss journey! 60lb to lose…..

End of week 1 for me and I have a wonderful 6lb loss. I'm very happy with this as a start.

Day 5 today, woke up feeling more energetic. Was a bit hungrier yesterday. I’m dreaming or remembering my dreams since taking MJ which I never did before. Had a sneaky weigh and 3.5 down since Sat….

Morning all I am on day six and this morning I feel not full as I normally would feel I've actually thought about eating this morning so I wonder if the effects ease off as you get to the last day

Day 5 on MJ no real symptoms aside from extreme thirst. Yesterday PM I did get my first feeling of hunger. However I have noticed that I am tasting my food...might be cause I am chewing more lol. Did a sneaky weigh in and I am 2.9kg which is amazing

Had my delivery yesterday, from Boots as I went with first result on Google and didn’t realise there was much cheaper suppliers! Does anyone know if I can switch for second delivery and receive the discount?

I’m thinking of starting on Friday, I am a bit worried on the side effects but feel a lot calmer from reading posts here.

Food inspiration will be my biggest challenge. Surprisingly, my super healthy DH is fully on board (I considered not telling him in case he said I was cheating at weight loss) and is helping to meal plan but loving reading what other people are munching.

I took my first jab Saturday before bed and weighed in at exactly 120kg on Sunday 😫

This morning I’m exactly 117kg , I’m not struggling to eat but finding it much easier to make healthy choices and not craving things like chocolate or crisps.

Looking forward to weighing in properly on Sunday but delighted with that so far and other health issues seem to have improved too

Day 6 for me today, No side effects apart from had no appetite whatsoever until yesterday. Has anyone else been the same and had to make themselves actually eat something?

@LaurieFairyCake I have had the same experience with an immediate result from 2.5. Reading on another forum it feels like there is a bit of confusion about the role / impact of a 2.5 dose with some US posters ( who are being prescribed by their Drs rather than going it alone as most of us are) claiming that they have been told that the whole loading dose concept is more relevant to managing Type 2 diabetes and for weight loss it's fine to just stick at whatever dosage level is working for you - which is what I intend to do.

I commented earlier on this thread as I had my first injection of Wegovy last Wednesday. Then I realised this thread is for MJ new starters. Sorry about that!

Anyway, thought I'd update on my first weigh in. I lost 8lb but I've been peckish and have been calorie counting. No additional exercise yet (just usual dog walks). I'm pleased with this result and thought MJ injectors would be interested (as MJ is supposed to be more effective).

Keep reminding myself that it takes a while to work fully. I had two days of no food chatter but after that needed willpower (gained from how much it costs!)

Had a sneaky way in gone from 15.8 to 15.3.
I know it is mainly water but it is a huge motivator.

Not that hungry this morning no rumbles however did start thinking would be nice ti go out for a meal at the weekend so maybe some is wearing off.
I have had loads of coffee today always has a laxative effect on me MJ or not.

Yes. I went through the motions of having lunch and evening meal but could have missed it. Knew I did need to eat and up my protein intake.
That did end yesterday though, the day before I was due my next dose. Had niggly hunger pangs yesterday and have them still this morning.
Took 2nd dose earlier so looking forward to the full feeling again soon hopefully.

You can always change suppliers. Most people seem to shop around. I have seen med express is pretty good cost wise but Voy was the cheapest for the first order when using a discount code (shamelessly providing my link below. It give £85 off to you and 50% for me if used).

Had my 1st injection on Monday. My starting weight is 20st 10lbs which I am thoroughly depressed and ashamed about.

Starting to have pain in hips and legs and convinced I've got health issues now. Booked to speak to GP on 19th as I'd like to be tested for T2 diabetes and check my artery's - I think I am getting something called claudication when waking so struggling to do exercise. Thought I would start this while waiting and have a head start.

I've been keeping to under 1500 calories no problem - I don't feel hungry but I think I'm just a greedy bastard and I could easily eat some crap but something magical is stopping me so it's either psychological or this drug is amazing.

Also, was drinking a bottle of wine every night. Haven't touched a drop since the weekend and don't seem to be bothered which again is such a difference for me.

My next dose is due tomorrow night but if my pangs get worse I will probably take it early. If the same happens again I may use some of the bonus dose midweek to see if that helps the week after

My next dose is tomorrow evening. Food noise is definitely trying to rear it's ugly head but I'm trying my hardest to ignore.

Weigh in today of 108.8kg. 111kg when I signed up for mj bank hol weekend. One week trying to be good plus just about 1 week mj. Some may be dodgy scale but at least in right direction.

Today I've had pepsi max (always), 2 Kiwi and a banana. Lunch will be jacket potato with cheese or tuna. Probably lasagne pasta bake for dinner so then I have leftovers for work lunch.
