Arrives in an absolutely massive box for some reason- but it was at least cold!

Hi all, I hope it's OK to ask a newbie question. I received my first pens today and intend to inject this evening. In the instruction leaflet it says to wipe the inner seal with a swab before use, but there were no swabs sent along with it so I want to make sure I have the right thing. I have non sterile medical swabs plus tcp (antisceptic fluid), is this suitable to use? Or do I need to go out for the wet wipe kind?

I thought I didn’t have any swabs either so bought some and then, whilst sorting out the packaging properly to throw away, found them at the bottom of the bag the pen came in (along with a letter about the extended shelf-life of the drug!) 🤦‍♀️

Have you got some anti-bac gel or similar? I still have a couple of small bottles left from Covid 😂 I reckon tcp would do the trick.

Thanks @IReallyNeedThisToWork I ordered from Zava and after searching the packaging I'm sure there aren't any although I also got the letter about the shelf life. I do have some anti vac gel, not sure how long it's been lurking in my handbag though!

I didnt get any swabs from Zava either so I ended up ordering some from elsewhere. Thankfully it was my second pen so noticed before I needed to use it.

Fourth and final week on 2.5mg done and took my first 5mg dose this morning. No new side effects thankfully. I was questioning the appetite suppression but I'm definitely getting the same quick fullness so maybe just th e first day taking a little while to kick in.
I am happy with the weight loss but it's slightly frustrating that the loss has slowed when I've been tracking calories and know I'm still eating a good level. Still I'm grateful it's still going down and it's entirely possible I'm retaining water in the heat as my legs are slightly swollen (nowhere near as they would be usually though!).

Wanted to share a weight loss app I have found. It's called happy scale. I have been using it since the beginning and like the way it shows a smoothed out line. As you can see, some days I've gone up, and this can be disheartening but the overall trend is down. It also has stats such as moving average loss which is good to see. Not affiliated in any way, just thought I'd share as I find this is keeping me motivated, even on those days or weeks when my loss isn't as much as I had hoped.

Hi did anyone have problem uploading their photo to Voy mine follows all their criteria but keep getting rejected with a 401 error

Can anyone tell me when you’re supposed to reorder your next pen and how to determine whether you stay on 2.5 or go up to 5 please? I’m with pharmacy2u.

I didn’t get swabs from ZAVA either, but they did send 7 needles per pen which I thought was good. Assume that is in case there are any faults/problems, but they will be good for the bonus doses.

I’m with ZAVA and ordered the starter pack of a 2.5mg and 5mg pens. They are each the same price at ZAVA. I plan to use less clicks on the 5mg if I feel the 2.5mg is suppressing my appetite enough and have the option to increase to 5mg at any point through the month.

I'm also unsure how this works. Lots of people talking about using "reorder" buttons or similar but on the Pharmacy2U website I just get a "your consultation has expired, please complete a new consultation" but I'm not sure if it's because it's too short a time since my previous order or if it will never reappear.
