Please could you explain further?
Have you done this on every dosage level or just when you increased from 2.5?

Which days do you inject your micro doses?

Do you still get a decent level of the wanted side effect ie the suppression?

Sorry I've just gone back and seen you do Mon Wed Fri. Do you think that is why you're not having side effects or could you just be someone who doesn't get adverse effects? If you've done it from day one you'll not know I guess

Yes did this from the very first injection.
I will continue micro dosing (which is simply splitting the weekly dose into three injections Monday Wednesday Fridays) as I titrate my dose strength.
I get full suppression zero side effects
guess it’s simply because although I’m getting a full dose each week it’s not all at once which is seemingly isn’t then a big enough shock to the system to cause the side effects

That’s so interesting!! So do you just twist the pen less so less date or are you doing something exciting with needles? Thanks so much for taking the time to explain.

so I bought a pack of sterile 1ml insulin syringes off Amazon

take the lid off the pen but instead of screwing one of those needles you get given I go ahead and put my sterile needle (which comes attached to the syringes I bought) into that soft rubber part of the pen (note I do use an alcohol wipe on that rubber part of the pen every time to keep things sterile) and I draw .2ml into each of the 3 the syringes. Thats my weekly .6ml dose split into 3, so lasts me a week. I fridge the rest.

Definitely agree it’s because I’m not getting a big hit that I don’t get side effects.
the research I did seems to strongly indicate that people who had big side effects that went onto micro dosing saw the adverse side effects stop.
that’s why I started micro dosing from day 1. My job and needing to socialise would have otherwise prevented me starting this journey or would probably have made me give up

Really similar to my experience. I also think I'm peri, stopped the pill and restarted it.

I'm also in week 3, jab 4 due on Monday and I'm now on day 9 of a consistently heavy period. Last weekend cramps were so bad I had to go to bed in the middle of the day.

48 hours out from my first dose and pleasantly surprised so far by how I'm feeling. Don't know if it's psychosomatic or the actual effects of the medicine, but I'm just not feeling hunger in the way I usually do - I've had no problems waiting until mealtimes to eat, and when I am eating I'm finding it much easier to put the fork down after I've had a sensible portion. I've had the odd urge to snack, but I've been able to ignore it and forget as opposed to fixating until I go and get something.

Only side effect so far has been some very loud stomach gurgling this morning. I also slept poorly last night but that could well have been the heat!

I will say that I'm definitely not experiencing the thing I've heard others describe around food aversion or physically feeling unable to eat more - when I've stopped clearing my plate, it's been a conscious effort rather than because I'm physically incapable of continuing.

Just had my pen delivered after the delay and the ice packaging is totally melted. I put a thermometer into the mounjaro packaging and the temp was 15 degrees. I read somewhere that if it gets to warm before use it needs to be used within 21 days or something. I am not even due to take my first dose until next weekend and so would that mean I could only use it for 2 weeks? I am not even sure at what temperature it becomes a problem? The pharmacy are not responding to my messages either.

@GingerNugget I'm certainly not an expert but I thought it would only go bad at 30 degrees so I would say put it in the fridge and it'll be fine.

@DamnedIfIDoDamnedIfIDont thanks, that makes sense. So your .2 doses also mean the original pen lasts a bit longer?

I think this may be a complete placebo effect since I only took my first dose at 9pm last night but I am not hungry at all. Did a food shop this afternoon and just kept putting things down though I realised I actually still need to feed the family 😄

Going to have a protein shake now.

@DamnedIfIDoDamnedIfIDont is it the same injecting with those needles? I'm alright with the one on the pen, but nervous about using a different sort!

This is me. I can alway finish a meal but do stay fuller longer into the evening.

My tastes haven't changed at all either. Stilk love coffee though haven't tried alcohol yet.

just a manual version using the syringe
i prefer it
my migraine injections are pen type press and fires into you and im a wuss with them 😂 so ive always taken those apart and done it manually

End of week 3 results - I’ll take my final 2.5mg tonight. I definitely found I felt less full this week but was still able to stop. No awful side effects at all this week. I’m dreading trying 5mg and it coming back. I am still so so exhausted though!

@ihatecoffee that’s brilliant too! I just had a huge water loss at the start, I usually lose 7-10lb in the first week of any diet, it’s the sticking to things that I’m shocking at! Not having food (and booze) noise honestly I’d love to stay like this.

Same! I began Thursday 20th at 4pm. Woke up this am with no appetite. Have eaten one slice of cheese today so far. I heard of. No side effects that I am can notice but I think it might be placebo effect. Hoping for the best. Great not to feel obsessed with food anyway.

Some great losses fab to see. I’m on week 1 and Day 6 today and definitely had more appetite but managed to eat 1500c plus done a load of exercise. I was really tired trying to run 5k this morning I had to keep walking more than normal and my heart rate was more elevated I think I’ve used up all my easy access glucose stores this week as it’s the first time I really felt like I needed some energy food. I had a banana waited an hour then a snack oat bar. I’m actually feeling nervous about Sundays 2nd jab as I had a headache for 48hrs after and I’ve got one again tonight. I’m hovering at 5lb loss so far which I’m so pleased with.

First dose done today, easy as pie! I built it up in my head as something really scary but it was honestly so simple and painless.

I have got covid! I did the 4th jab last night. I feel awful but still want to eat. Think I have food noises but also feel ill and can't taste much. The covid is overpowering any MJ side affects.

Think I am on a stalk week too. 🤦‍♀️

I got my first pen in the post on Wednesday and it’s been in the fridge waiting for me since - actually feeling a bit nervous to start… what if I jab it in the wrong place, what if I feel ill, etc.
