Hi @Time4changeagain

With Zava, do you pay first, before they accept/reject you?

I'm at the payment page but haven't been asked for a photo/previous order info yet.

Thank you!

ginandoreos · 19/06/2024 14:07

@Notcms

Oh thank you! Perhaps that will be my next stop 😄.

Batlady78 · 19/06/2024 14:36

Has anyone used a cashback card to purchase Mounjaro? If so, which one please?

Just done my second 2.5 jab. Definitely felt a slight appetite suppression when I started last week, and could also feel it wearing off on Monday/yesterday! The only side effects I'm having are constipation, a bit of tiredness and feeling cold!

SW 103.6kg
GW 80kg
CW 100.2kg

I've done Fast800 before and lost 20kg (94kg to 74kg) so that's what I'm aiming for again. I know what's good to eat/high in protein etc and I'm also trying to avoid UPF so hoping that this time on Mounjaro gives me space to make healthier choices.

mandarindreams · 19/06/2024 15:42

Joining this thread as I've just taken my first dose today! I'm now at my highest ever weight and need to make a change as the same cycle of calorie counting for the past 20 years clearly haven't made any long-term difference - I need to turn the noise off for long enough that I can establish good habits and I'm hoping that this will help.

SW: 111kg
1st GW: 97kg (where I was 18 months ago after a year of breastfeeding!)
Ultimate GW: 75kg

So I had to submit full body photo and a feet on the scales picture to ZAVA and I've just had an email to say there rejected me and I refunding the money. My BMI is 28.weight 13.5 so I'm gonna have to go back to pharmacy to you. I think to get the 5 mg pen

AnnaBosque · 19/06/2024 16:05

I am on my 2nd week of mounjaro and lost 2.4 kg. I was due for my period two days ago and it didn’t come. I’m not sexually active and can’t be pregnant. Anyone else experiencing this?

I had the exact same thing with them. I had clearly stated I had started taking it and my bmi was over 30 and by the time I was ordering the 2nd pen it had dropped but they didn’t even reply. Just cancelled my order and refunded me

Hi All I have just placed an order with Zava and have a referral code for 15% if that's of any use to anyone. Approval process was quick less than 24 hours. Code is REF6BQW7. Good luck

Snozzlemaid · 19/06/2024 17:45

Just notice that ZAVA have sent a letter to my GP advising they have prescribed Mounjaro for me.
There's a letter in my documents section on NHS app and it's listed in my prescribed medications now.
I ordered my first pen from Medical Express and they didn't contact GP even though they said they would.

BellaCriesAndThatsAlright · 19/06/2024 18:07

I've just looked at my medical record and it's showing a letter to my GP from MedExpress. It's asking them to reply if the information I've provided is inaccurate.

Foxlover46 · 19/06/2024 18:15

@Silvesterthecat really ? I don't know why because they surely expect the bmi to go down as we have been on the 2.5mg for a month it's so frustrating isn't it! Bad enough having to take a photo whilst on the scales for me 🙈
May I ask who you went with instead ?

DietStartsM0NDAY · 19/06/2024 19:00

Just wanted to say 'Hi' as I am now officially a June starter. First injection this afternoon. Keeping everything crossed for limited side effects.
Start weight 97kg
Goal weight 77 kg I think my BMI was coming in at 34.5.

I've been reading these posts for the last week or so and they are inspirational. I just hope I can join you in your successes!
Off on holiday to France next week so will have a challenge immediately, but didn't want to put it off any longer.

I'll keep you posted and look forward to seeing how everyone is doing! Smile

Well done @Snozzlemaid fab loss. 12lb in 3 weeks is terrific.
I’ve just done Flab Jab number six and down 23 lbs. Long road ahead though. I’m amazed how easy it is when you aren’t craving food especially in the evenings (crisps and chocolate and tea and biscuits just don’t appeal). This is a revelation after yo yo dieting for 30 years. I’m still on 2.5mg but going up to 5mg next pen.
So good to have these threads to help on the journey. Be lost without them.

CrystaltipsnoAlistair · 19/06/2024 19:24

Hi @DietStartsM0NDAY (great name)
Good luck and hope you get on well. The lack of food noise and feeling full after small portions is worth the ££££
Keep us posted

Flab jab! Love it!

CrystaltipsnoAlistair · 19/06/2024 19:38

@Sewfrickinamazeballs
And I have a lot of flab to jab. No problem with infection as lots to choose from 🤣Hope your tummy eases ….

Snozzlemaid · 19/06/2024 19:41

I've adopted the term 'flab jab' now as well, after seeing it on the other thread. 😃
I love reading these threads and seeing how everyone is doing. I would never have had the courage to do this if it hadn't been for all the great information and support on here.
Here's to many more pounds and kgs lost by us all, and hopefully never gained again.

CrystaltipsnoAlistair · 19/06/2024 20:40

Totally agree. It’s a daunting prospect on a newish drug without support.
Great advice on here and feel like we not jabbing alone in the dark …..
I’ve had a bit of hunger this last week so hoping the food noise doesn’t resurface too much. It’s just a total change in how I feel about food.

GoingforitJune24 · 19/06/2024 20:59

Just taken my third jab of 2.5. I'm a day late as I had a big meeting today and didn't want to risk any side effects. I've lost another 3.5lb so 11.5lb in two weeks! Hoping for at least a stone by end of week 4 (fingers crossed).

I am considering which pen to order next time as I think the 2.5ml seems to wear off after 4/5 days. Has anyone else noticed this?

If I ordered another 2.5ml, I'm thinking I could use the 'extra dose' in the old and new pen to make it 3.75ml for the whole four weeks? Then move to 5ml?

Terrified of bad side effects so thought may be good to go slow!

When I try to join voy and do the assessment it only offers me orlistat

Could it be due to a low bmi?
