Had some success with ryebelsus but waiting on mounjaro in UK
Have underactive thyroid and PCOS and never lost 3st gained after chuld #3 (pre eclpamtic qnd fluid retention etc)

Anyone know where can get mounjaro in UK? BMI 32 so will pay for private prescrption

Can someone explain to me how I’m on the 5mg dose but the pen shows 2.4. I’m so confused.

Thanks. I realised that it’s 5mg not ml 🤦🏽‍♀️ I had a complete brain fart. I was wondering how they were fitting 20ml of mounjaro into a 2.4 ml pen 🙄 my maths wasn’t mathing.

Ordered some today (Oxford Online Pharmacy). Should be here on Monday.

Need a bit of advice, I'm on week 6 (5mg) so far no real side effects... till this week. I inject on a Tuesday and I've got progressively worse as the week has gone on.

Ive had the worst trapped wind on and off since Tuesday, but today I feel awful... the trapped wind is having my life, ive been taking peppermint tea, windeeze, warm water... nothing seems to be calming it, Its making me feel really sick as well and I feel like.I have zero energy. I've just napped on and off all day because I feel rotten

Apologies if this has been asked but does anyone know how long you can store a pen if you don't use it, and do you store it in the refrigerator or freezer?

Check your box as it will confirm (in case any are different) but mine says keep in fridge for up to 30 days after first use.

Turns out it wasnt, I think I ate something that didnt agree with me however down side of the medication, food stayed in my stomach longer. After writing that post I was really sick rest of that day.. after that i wasnt to bad. So must have been the side effects of Mounjuro when you eat something that doesnt agree.

Those prices are horrific. My GP gave it me without me asking when I went to see him for something completely unrelated. I am diabetic and very fat…
He originally prescribed Victoza last summer but it was never in stock.

I wonder if I could get some advice please. I've not yet made the jump to start this journey but I know I have to, as nothing else works for me any more and the scale, and my loathing with how I look, keeps climbing!

I've done my research and mounjaro appears to be the best for weight loss, but could anyone help answer a couple of my lingering questions?

1. I know I have to do photos, but if I switch every time because of the price, do I have to keep taking pictures, as my BMI will drop at some point?
2. Who decides the dose, is it me, or is someone tracking what I'm on?
3. Is weight recorded anywhere because who decides when it stops? By that I mean, let's say you reach your goal, do providers stop giving it and you're on your own?

Think it's part of their prescribing quality control. I've stayed with same supplier on subscription but still need to.
• Who decides the dose, is it me, or is someone tracking what I'm on? You start on the loading dose and then you move up when you feel effects are wearing off, usually monthly. You can stay on same dose if it's working for you.

When you get to the cut off weight I assume there becomes a point of no longer being prescribed, but I'm a long way off that just now.
