Had some success with ryebelsus but waiting on mounjaro in UK
Have underactive thyroid and PCOS and never lost 3st gained after chuld #3 (pre eclpamtic qnd fluid retention etc)

Anyone know where can get mounjaro in UK? BMI 32 so will pay for private prescrption

I got my first couple from Voy and they've been fine but plan to move to MedExpress once my discounted ones are finished.

I’m thinking of trying this. I need to lose 2 stone. I can diet but with an under active thyroid it’s so slow and then I get bored and go back to square one. Apart from hating how I look I’ve also got health issues that I’m sure would be improved by weighing less.

I guess I’ll have to buy privately? Also tell me the worst in terms of side effects?

Has anyone started mounjaro but not been in the right BMI for it?
I'm sitting at about bmi of 26 but I'm scared to take it now. Cancer and early menopause has made me pile the weight on 😭

No expert, I’ve not started myself but awaiting my first order. However how would you get it if you’re not classed as overweight? I just signed up with VOY. They requested a full
length photo in tight clothing and declined the first 2. They also requested all of
my medication including photos of boxes showing my name. It’s pretty thorough. You could probably buy from someone less scrupulous but then how do you know what you’re getting? There someone I know seeking pens on Facebook! Honestly I have no idea where she’s getting them but it’s quite a dangerous thing to chance x

Ps have you had your thyroid checked? If not ask for TSH, T3 & T3 rather than just TSH.

I did get it through a well known website I altered my weight (moment of madness where I thought this was the only option) I had to send full length pics also but I'm not far off being in the category so they probably wouldn't of thought much of it.
Just worried because about the dosage and not being the correct BMI for it.

Never had throid checked I've just assumed the weight gain was menopause I've never been overweight until now

7.5kg isn't available yet. Next week, I think. Some people are waiting for it as due to move up.

£114.50 for the first month. But yes, then it doubles, so everyone switches to MedExpress or similar. Everyone I've referred I have told to do this, as I don't want anyone paying £229!

@Hayleyare27 its worth asking for a thyroid check especially after having treatments that disrupt your hormones. It might be fine but it’s good to rule it out x

@Hayleyare27 I personally would be very careful about taking the drug when you don't technically qualify - only because you may find the side effects are worse on you and you don't tolerate even the smaller dose. At the end of the day this is a strong medication that has been texted and approved for obesity and there has to be a reason for it. Not judging you - it's none of my business at the end of the day- but I would not do it.

I'm on mj and have just started the 5mg pen. I've also put on weight due to menopause and cancer so I understand your reasons. But your health is more important so please be careful.

Just posting to say hi. I just ordered my first pen and I’m quite excited to start. I put on 3 stone in the last 2 years. I decided to start exercising and eating better about 3 months ago and have stopped gaining, but haven’t been able to actually lose weight. I’m hoping this will help.

Hi question. I hated doing the initial picture for MedExpress. Do you have to send them pictures each month or just your weight?
Are all providers the same in that they want pictures?

Did you find you were less hungry/eating less for the whole week. I’m not due my second injection till Thursday and I’m hungrier today than previous days.
