Samples, sale, unworn and pre-loved. Filter to UK.

Some genuine bargain, good quality dresses.

Find a brand and style the suits you and then scour eBay/Vinted etc. lots of people sell theirs second hand

I did this. The lady I bought my dress from had paid about £1300 and I got it for £125 on eBay. Bargain! I loved it!

So many responses! I suppose I am looking specifically for high street bridal (rather than outlet/sample/preloved bridal) cos I’m after something a bit more modern.

There are a few dresses on Coast that look ‘me’ but was just hoping for some more places! Some great suggestions here already though

@getmetothechurchontime

Could you gives us a bit more of an idea of which of the Ghost dresses are more appealing to you, could help us gauge your preferred style?

For instance how would you like;

Sleeves ; long/short/¾/sleeveless

Length ; long/short/tea

Colour; white/ivory/colour

etc..😊💐

getmetothechurchontime · 25/05/2023 10:12

Thanks @beetr00 - I’m not looking for a specific dress, just places to look!

so like some people have already suggested monsoon and whistles. ASOS is an obvious one… coast, ghost, reformation and self portrait.

was just trying to see if there was anywhere I’d missed!

Where are you based? There's a wedding dress shop in Northallerton that sells ex displays/ last season dresses.

getafringenotbotox · 25/05/2023 10:20

Asos have sone lovely ones

getmetothechurchontime · 25/05/2023 10:29

@cupofdecaf thanks but I specifically want a high street sort of dress - I really don’t want a ‘proper’ bridal gown! I’d feel like I were in fancy dress.

im just after some suggestions of high st websites to look at

Rixo have a bridal range
I remember looking on The Outnet and filtering by white dresses and £ and seeing good options

UnfinishedUserna · 25/05/2023 12:27

ASOS!! My dress was scary cheap and utterly perfect, not too 'bridal' but enough to know I was the bride Grin

I.got.mine.from Ever Pretty. It was gorgeous and under £100.

Keepitweird · 25/05/2023 13:01

Hope & Ivy - I got married a few weeks ago and wore the Lyra, had so many lovely comments on it Smile

Good luck @getmetothechurchontime 🙂💐

PurelyBelter · 25/05/2023 15:45

Mine's from ASOS. It's perfect for our summery, outdoor wedding and I bought and added some applique to make it personalised. Everything for under £150

hairyunicorn · 25/05/2023 15:52

When i got married (years ago) I went to the traditional wedding dress shop and tried on all the dresses. When i found one i liked i took pics of the label and researched it online.

Turned out the dress was from an American company. The British shop wanted £1700, i was able to order it from the USA directly and even with shipping it cost £400.

Def worth checking out any dresses you like and seeing if you can order directly from the company.
