Just found my perfect dress in a charity shop!

Engaged but no date set yet.

I hadn't started seriously looking for dresses yet but had a fairly good idea of what I was looking for (whimsical, floaty A-line, a fine tulle multi-layered skirt and bodice detailing spreading down to the skirt).

Stumbled across this exquisite thing in a charity shop window yesterday. Perfect condition. Light as a feather and only £125

Will need a little adjustment but nothing huge. Feel very lucky like the dress found me rather than me finding the dress!

Blatantly fishing for compliments but I am still having to pinch myself and sharing it makes it feel a bit more real.

Not from a specialist shop. It was for the local Cats and Dogs home. I'm very happy that the money went there.

To be honest I'm normally a bit of a scruffy hippy type and don't dress up a lot so any ideas/advice will be gratefully received!

I'm dark haired and olive skinned and in my mid-40's. I'm thinking some sort of shoulder covering will probably feel more comfortable than strapless with bare shoulders?
