Just found my perfect dress in a charity shop!

Engaged but no date set yet.

I hadn't started seriously looking for dresses yet but had a fairly good idea of what I was looking for (whimsical, floaty A-line, a fine tulle multi-layered skirt and bodice detailing spreading down to the skirt).

Stumbled across this exquisite thing in a charity shop window yesterday. Perfect condition. Light as a feather and only £125

Will need a little adjustment but nothing huge. Feel very lucky like the dress found me rather than me finding the dress!

Yes - the people in the charity shop were so lovely and genuinely excited when I bought it. I think they could see the stars in my eyes! There were also some other shoppers gathered round to admire it. Felt a bit like a proper wedding dress shopping experience. Wish I had taken a picture of it on the mannequin in the shop window now. I promised I'd send them a photo too.

I promise I'll share one here when I'm feeling the confidence...

You don’t need anything over your shoulders, I think it would detract from the beautiful detailing.

Maybe a veil, crystals, flowers or a tiara in your hair?
