Would my dress look better without straps? Pic attached

Hello!

So this is my second dress Blush Bought my first, fell in love with it, but then tried it on again and... nah, not so much. I think I just got carried away with the whole dress shopping experience Grin Anyway, that dress has since been returned, so was quickly back to square one.

This is my new dress and I love it (have tried it on twice and still love it Wink ) but I'm now wondering if it would be more flattering without the straps. I do like the detail, but am thinking it might be a bit much??..

Also, do you think it needs taking in more at the waist, to give me more shape? I was told it could be, but would still like to breathe.....if possible!

Thanks

Yy to straps and to no lace on the veil. It would be too much with the lace on the dress.

It looks lovely! It does not need a corset. I think the side on picture looks slightly larger because it is merging with the white reflection on the mirror. In close up, you look v. slim and v. beautiful.

Thanks for all the lovely comments.

I'm definitely keeping the straps.

I've just discovered hair vines 😍 As you can sort of see in my second photo, I have long dark hair, which I'll be keeping down on the day. Was leaning more towards a veil, than no veil, but I bloody love these gorgeous hair vines! I've been looking at pearl and crystal ones, which would weave in and out my hair. I still really want a veil, but I can't just stick one over the top of the vine can I? I guess you could see it through the veil, but still, does it seem odd to cover it up? I don't like the idea of a head band or vine being on top of or towards the front of my head.

Any thoughts?

.....or any ideas on a really good bra, which will give a bit of cleavage. I really wanted to show off the girls a bit, if possible Grin In a classy weddingy way, of course Wink I don't usually like push up bras, as they tend to come with so much padding and give you the dreaded back fat. Any recommendations?

I agree with everyone! It looks great and the straps are fab. Smile
For the cups, are you doing the "lean forwards and scoop everything from the sides/bottom up and into the cups"? It can make a huge difference, a lot of "side/back fat" is actually just unscooped boob.

"unscooped boob" Grin Lovely image!

It was difficult, because those cups were obviously too big, so no amount of scooping was going to give me a cleavage! Hopefully, once it's been altered I will have some, but was still wondering about a bra, because during my proper fitting, I need to be wearing the bra I'll be wearing on the day.
