Will the uk have a storm tonight after the hot weather?

I remember a couple of years back we had a huge storm in the night following the heatwave.

Just wondering if to prepare as I have cats!!

It is raining! Raining here!!! Hurrray!!!!

Rained here in north London. Only a bit but it was lovely 😊

We had rain and lots of breeze around 8.45pm. Earlier it was like a hairdryer style warm wind but it was much cooler this eve. Now feels a lot fresher and more bearable

Raining here thank goodness since the fields around the next village along are on fire

Another part of the East mids here and we’ve had no rain at all, it’s still hot too! Definitely cooler than this afternoon but it’s hot and muggy now! We need a good storm and downpour to clear the air

We’ve got a storm here in Kent! Well mostly lightning but it’s a start

Our rain unfortunately only last ten minutes

Ours didn't even last that long, and now huidity levels are rising. Going to be a fun night.
