Here's shiny new thread! Anyone got a golden razz?

I finally got a 91% and had enough candy to evolve it so I went for it. That’s after hatching 24 snom. I’ve still got 9 7km eggs incubating so might get a couple more.

I always try and keep 400 rare candy in hand so I can evolve something because I’m addicted to catching them all if I want too. I recently used rather a lot powering up my Zacian though so I was reluctant to splurge them all. In the end I didn’t need to use any.

Pokemon has taught me [some] patience, ever since throwing everything at the meltan task to get a very unexciting 2*, I'm more willing to wait for the candy to accumulate and hope I've got a good one by that stage... Only 392 to go for snom!

Woohoo! I dashed out at 3am for the third night in a row and caught my 10th Kacleon for the research. Now I’ve just got to wait another week for the time lock ‘spin a stop’ task and then it’s on to stage 4.

How’s everyone else doing? Did you make it to stage 2 yet @PickAChew ?

Hi, just joining the thread as have had an urge to log back into the game.

its been a bit of an adjustment back into it, i would have preferred to start from scratch but the game doesn’t seem to let me do that.
and i’m struggling to keep up with all the tasks from the professor 😂

Don't worry about the tasks too much. Mostly they're about catching Pokémon anyway. And welcome back 😄

You might regret it but you can completely delete your account if you want to start again. The alternative is set up on a new email account (just get yourself a gmail address) to use.

Don’t worry about all the tasks. Most will auto complete as you play. And you’ll find there are a fair few ‘make a new friend’ ones so making a few friends here will help you complete those.

I'm always really short on friend spaces but I do have two currently. If you PM your code to me I can add you. DS doesn’t have any free spaces right unfortunately.

Have you got the 20 best buddies you need for stage 2? If not they are retrospective so be sure to swap out those you are working on while you carry on with stage 1

I’m actually looking forward to stage 4 once I’m through this time lock on stage 3. I really thought it would take me longer to catch 10 new Kecleon (they’re not retrospective).

Although I live fairly rurally I am very lucky that I can see around 20 stop from home (thanks to Ds nominating everything he could find that qualified). So I just kept checking them every 30mins and then jumping in the car to get them before they vanished. I was finding locally 1 every day or 2 that way plus some more when I was somewhere with a lot more stops visible on the map. It’s very time consuming but relatively doable. I did wonder if I was a little bit too addicted mad when I was walking through the graveyard at 3am to catch one that was just beyond it 😮

I'm way off, @gillybean2 - go through phases of rotating them to use up berries and then I lose the will to live 😂

They seemed to work, even if they're misnamed! I've got a bit of extra free candy and stardust and I'm not going to object to that. I wish I'd had the 'use a charged tm' research before I used all of them on shadows during the go rocket takeover, but hindsight is always a wonderful thing... I'm sure I can find some more somewhere... 🤪

We have a 5G mast down in town and it’s a struggle to get anything to load. Super frustrating when that’s the best area for lots of gyms and max raids usually. It’s so bad I’ve watched my phone struggle between E and 3G today and 4G has been a treat. 🙈

So apparently the mast may not be back for a week. I’ll try to sort gifts when I’ve got WiFi but it’s so bloody annoying that I can’t go out catching properly.

So where do you put those promotional codes in? I thought I would give it a try but couldn't find where to enter them.

You have to go on the Pokémon web store to do it, annoyingly.
