I probably spent more on incubators and storage upgrades on both accounts than I would have spent had I had to pay for go fest tickets Plus I don’t feel quite do aggrieved at the thought of paying out for the Glimmers of Gratitude special research next week as I would of if I’d paid for go fest tickets.
I guess they figured that perhaps people spend more overall when they haven’t shelled out on a ticket x how ever many kids/family members they have wanting a ticket.

I do feel like the ‘value’ of my previously caught unown Pokemon has diminishes somewhat with the unowns being so numerous. But I guess it means I can dump a load I’ve been hanging onto for years from Paris, London, Montreal, Dortmund and other events.

I’m looking forward to having some special research to work on again. I also used my bottle cap on my very poor stats Zeraora so I’ve got quite a bit of hyper trading to work on too.

I am just happy I finally have a balloon Pikachu. I am easily pleased when it comes to Pokémon 😄.

I am a big fan of costume Pokémon so this event has been great. Maybe I've been lucky or the shiny rate is decent too

My shiny rate has been horrendous. Got a Lillipup and Pikachu today which are my first since Saturday though so hopefully it’s improving.

I've got a couple of shiny pikachus, even as event ones I'm failing to be excited by them, very over pikachu in all forms. I have my platinum medal now and want to move on...

I am going to be out of action for a bit as I have family visiting this week so not too much PoGo opportunity.

I’m still playing but I can’t level up because I don’t have enough platinum medals, same with the next level. I never paid attention to them. The easiest way is if I could catch a few missing Pokémon but that’s impossible!

What do you need? I have spares of most things to trade and I’m sure others will if you let us know what you need.

Are there any other medals you are close to? Try and work with a friend if you can. I save all my tiny rattatas for a friend and trade them to him whenever we bump into each other.

Chip away as much as you can at them. Mega evolve daily, build up friendship levels and interact with your buddy daily too.

A torkoal and klefki would give me 2 medals.
i haven’t even got the one for battling grunts yet, I stopped battling them a few years ago stupidly as it annoyed me.
im trying to do party play on a temperamental old phone, no one else plays in real life to me anymore.

You can get Klefki in the UK by the way in the south east as they pretty much drew a square around France. This may or may not be useful depending where you are!

Also I’ve noticed a huge reduction in the number of spawns at home yesterday. Suddenly it has gone from 3-4 spawns an hour to nothing all day, apart from first spawn of the day.
