I levelled up to 75, yesterday. By bedtime, the catch 200 pokemon in a single day slider was already annoying me. I took advantage of DS2 being off and needing entertaining to do something about it, this morning. I got my first 140 on a bus ride, this morning and I've got 7 left to go so, fingers crossed, the game doesn't go down in the next couple of hours. I often get a bit of drift, at home, but it's not been playing ball, this afternoon.

I’ve added your friend too. Can’t promise daily but I will do my best. I’ve recently been away for a couple of days so ended up sending every single one of my friends a gift. I do like when I can do that.

I forgot to mention as well I finally got to level 73. Might take me a while for the 200km and 250 field research tasks but think the max moves should be ok and the other one I had straight away (think it was a medals one). I’m still well over on XP so that’s unlikely to be an issue even at future levels as it takes me so long to level up.

That 300km is, realistically, going to take me until August, but it's nice to have got the annoying one out of the way.

Thanks to those who invited her. She only had 5 friends so hopefully a few more will make her happy even if you can’t gift her every day

I’m after some random Pokemon for my lucky dex. Currently am looking for tentacool, tauros, gligar, teddiursa, azurill, baltoy, spheal, mime jr, basculin, frillish, cubchoo, durant and larvesta. A few more than that needed but hoping to plug these gaps first

@gillybean2we still have a couple of months to remote trade, hopefully we go lucky before then. I have most of the ones you listed.

I’ve got one friend I’ve hit remote trade on but I first couldn’t do it before he had one in progress. Finally got to request a trade but he cancelled it and now I can’t do it again as he’s done another one today. Very annoying. If I get more people in here on the remote trades soon I’ll definitely prioritise you before this guy anyway.

With remote trades do people have a method for choosing? I put them in order of preference left to right, but I don't think other people do the same from when I have been able to communicate. Find the ones where you can't contact the person it's a bit nerve wracking working out if you're actually choosing what they want to have...

I’m happy with anything I get as so far I’ve had some shiny dex spots filled from it.

I had my first person elsewhere want a Stonjourner today too so I’m just hanging on to any of them I catch and adding them to the tag straight away so once they hit the 30 days they should show up for people then.

@VeryNearlyLegendary if I particularly want a specific pokemon I may only request one or two and not make three choices. The trade I did today I only selected the furfrou with the Japanese trim. My friend had 2 shiny ones and a normal one so I selected both of the shiny ones and didn’t pick a third choice. I figured they could reject if they weren’t happy. They requested 3 different pokemon so I figured they were happy to trade the shiny furfrou I requested for any of them. So then I went left to right hoping that was their order of preference, left being a stonjourner. Didn’t feel an entirely fair swap but t guess stonjourner are more valuable to non UK players.

It is tricky when you don’t know the person and can’t contact them, especially when you’re trying to be fair. I had someone request a shiny torkoal from me and I only had the one spare so didn’t feel it was a fair trade for what I’d requested. Turned out they were actually the dh of a friend of ds’s . So I was able to contact the friend and explain I was happy for her dh to have it but felt I needed to change what I was swapping if for. We then agreed to trade for 2 costumed pokemon that ds needed, so ds’ll get the other one next time. Had it been a total stranger I would probably have rejected the trade.

I've just had my first stonjourner go too, I think most of my forever friends were UK to start with, so not sure if I need to keep enough for a rush on them later, or whether everyone abroad will have got them already with someone else when we get that far!

It's always hard to know what's 'fair' as everyone needs different things. I've missed several community days, so still after shinies that some people have loads of and there's quite a few legendaries where I've not managed to get one with really good stats so trying to mirror trade. Much easier if you can get hold of people to let them know the plan though!

I have a crazy son, so my name reflects that as I started playing with him originally (he gave up ages ago). I'm not sure I like having a 'mum' name so thinking about changing it, but can't think of anything I like better.

95% of my non uk remote trades have wanted a stonjourner. Even ds’s level 80 Japanese friend who we met at an event in Canada and is a huge player wanted one.

I think you’ll find that most won’t actually have all that many uk friends. Apart from pottypotamus who seems to have found quite a lot of us here.

I have friends all over but any specific country (other than Japan and USA) is only 2 or 3 active from any one place. I have quite a few Canadian friends but that’s because we actually met them when we went there for a Pokemon event.

I'll make sure I keep a few in stock them! Will be interesting to see how remote trading develops as people start getting to the second round and have fewer regional gaps.
