I did @gillybean2thank you for asking, thank god it works in a car as it was pouring down.
have now purified 75 Pokémon I was hoarding, levelled 2 up to max CP and i need 8 more xl candy to do the last one….30 raids might take a while now, especially the weather has changed!

first time posting on this thread, have had the game since 2016 but recently had a long break

Do you have cookie in your IGN? If so, I’ve just accepted you! I too had the game in 2016, but stopped a few months later really. Picked it back up in April 2023 and haven’t stopped since!

@ISaySteadyOn nice shiny. Have you decided what you’re going to evolve it into…?

I think a Ceruledge because I just like them better.

But right now, just for fun, I am trying to fully power up my most powerful Pokémon.

I’ve had some route luck and not so much luck today. I decided to try and set a route from a stop near my house to the theatre I help at, I mentioned before at trying to do this. It was a 0.4km walk so wouldn’t accept it. I’ll try tomorrow with one a little further and hope that’ll be enough.

But then I left the theatre to go have something to eat in Spoons so I did a route between them (well to a stop next to Spoons as I was told they can be funny with pub ones on routes) and it was accepted straight away.

Second attempt at the first one will be done tomorrow and then 7 days in a row will be simple for me.

Oooh I just hatched a shiny Frigibax! Doesn’t look that different though LOL

Well done! I finally finished my 200km today and hit level 74! Also got to the last level of hyper training on my buddy with the silver bottle cap and made 16 new pokestop nominations (spurred on by getting 7 out of 9 new stops accepted this week)… it’s been a good day!

@SneakyGremlin yay. Have you picked up enough zygarde cells to change to complete form in the process?

@Tillow4ever congrats. I think level 74 is the easiest so far. Just a bit frustrating waiting for friends to open gifts.

If there’s anyone out there who could make the effort to open my gifts for the next few days that would be appreciated.

I’ve done 20 out of 30 raids to level up. Hoping I can smash it in 2 days. Torrential rain put me behind.

My 30 raids have been severely hampered by Weather.

Still not as arduous as the routes 7 days in a row, mind!

I’m unable to do the route task due to mobility issues. I’ve tried in the car - but it didn’t work. I’m feeling like deleting the app and saving money on coins and research events that seem impossible to finish.

I managed to do my last one in the car @BeeCucumbermaybe find one in a quiet area and drive slow.

37 raids done. Probably could have done more today but it started raining.

I think I've got just about ¼ of the cells I need 😭

I'm opening all the gifts this week, not sure I'll be able to once the new season starts unless there's some increased number bonus, be back to taking it in turns for a while.

Level 73! Going to be a slog. The tasks will take me forever

I also have mobility issues and can’t do most of the nearby routes. However I have found some further afield that I can drive and will complete that way (in 30 mph zones).

Look on the map for routes rather than on the nearby and ask locals if there are along roads.

Someone local to you might also be prepared to walk and submit a new route that you can then drive.
Ds walked and submitted a route for me which shows a small kink in it where he had to briefly turn to use a zebra crossing before getting back on the main road. It’s close enough to the main route to not matter when I drive it. There’s also a section which is on a one way road. He submitted it so it can be done in either direction so I can still drive it in the reverse direction.
Another route was set by someone walking who went around the other side of a building but it’s still close enough to the road to not matter when I drive it.
The nearest one to me I can mostly drive I have to get out of the car at the end and walk about 20 steps to get close enough to the pokestop to trigger the complete route. I can’t always do that but I can sometimes persuade a friend/passenger to jump out with my phone to complete it for me.

It can be tough when you feel excluded from the game through no fault of your own. I hope you can find a solution like I did. Good luck💐

I do a daily route on the bus to work. Spin at Asda then at the top of the road when I get off.

When routes were brand new some lovely people in my area added some routes I could do which had multiple public benches on the way so I could rest as much as possible while walking them as they knew I had mobility issues. It’s not so good in the winter but I got a few through the better months.

I did find adding my own much easier for right now though. The ones I’ve added are the bare minimum distance and along routes I often go so hopefully I’ll get it soon (I had got up to 4 days then missed one which I was gutted about).
