Is having the jacket such a big deal? I’ve never ‘worn’ mine. Is it just that you could if you wanted too? I know it’s easy to say that when I’ve already got it but I can honestly say it really didn’t have any influence or make me want to achieve level 50 to acquire it.
For anyone wanting xp, evolving pidgey with a lucky egg on should get you a good chunk. Excellent throws if you can land them is also going to wrack up the xp.
I’m completing the tasks if they fall in with what I’m doing as it’s nice to have extra xp but they are starting to become a bit of a hassle now rather than things I want to do. I’ve been holding off giving out gifts, completing tasks etc as I’ll probably need to do that for the next level… It’s a bit tedious as completing the research is forcing me to play in a way I don’t particularly want to.
I’m already level 50 so don’t actually ‘need’ it, but I don’t know what level I’ll end up at once the higher levels come in 🤔 so extra xp which might help push me up the new levels is attractive. I’m just not sure grinding for grinding sake is worth it except for those who are close and really keen to get to level 50 before the update.
Personally I have been focusing on completing platinum badges and working on completing lucky/XXL/XXS dex this year. I’m hoping it will hold me in good steed for whatever will be required to get to level 80.
