Hello! I've not posted on the Animal Crossing board before, and only realised one existed the other night when I saw it in Active Conversations.
Ive been playing ACNH since Jan 1st. DS2 bought me the game for my birthday at the end of December and I "politely" started it thinking it wasn't for me, and within a week I reckon I was hooked!

I have two islands - the first one I started on the family switch, but I was finding that the other members of the family were often using the switch when I wanted to, so I bought myself a switch in April and now have a second island on there which I re-started about two months ago as I wasn't very happy with it.

I haven't got a massively creative streak, so my islands are a bit of a mess but I love them all the same! Very happy to help anybody out I will gladly post if I have high turnip prices and if anybody needs something I have in my storage.

I sometimes go to a treasure Island (any free one that I happened to see on twitch ) but I also like to make my own progression in the game and work for most of my things and just give myself a little boost now and again. No attachment for me though, everyone has a different way of doing their game!

A few of us were discussing on the last board about what was needed for two separate towns.

Do you use the same nintendo account on both switches? (And the same digital game copy) If so, do you know if you are added as a 'family member'?

@slowtik I have shooting stars tonight but haven't seen Celeste yet. I rarely seem to have her on my island!- or the 2 that make models of fish and bugs!
I'll open up if anyone wants to visit.

@Pinkbonbon I have two separate copies of the game on two switches. I have the same Nintendo account and can fly to other island from both. The only thing it seems I can't do is send items as gifts on my 2nd island to friends - it just doesn't recognise I have friends!

Now I know I sound like I'm whinging, and I'm really not, I know how lucky I am to have two islands, but it's actually too much, especially since the update. I can't keep up with all the flowers, the talking to residents, the everyday stuff as well as trying to do some terraforming.
I also work, have 2 kids still at home, and so I barely keep up !

I started playing in october and am now officially obsessed!

I bought turnips for the first time on Sunday , 500,000 bells worth😂 and so far Mondays and today's am and pm prices have been lower than what I paid so I'm beginning to worry. If anyone has really good prices I'd love to come and sell!

I will check in a mo...but I don't want to get your hopes up mine are usually rubbish prices. I bought turnips for the first time in ages this week as I completely ran out of money 😁 so am hoping to make some profit...I'll be left with about 15 bells otherwise 😅

Definitely not insane, if you don't and you miss out, they'll probably be selling for 500 bells or something 😂.
This game is so addictive isn't it 😁
