So, I have a gym right at my front door. There are not many other houses around. I have managed to take over this gym a few times now, but usually within 10 minutes I am defeated and thrown out. Don't mind the defeat as obviously I can't hold the gym on my own with a not very strong Pokemon. What pisses me off is the 10 minutes max, so I usually don't even get any coins for the shop. Plus I see no one on the street. So I assume they are using fake GPS :-(

My son and I played Pokémon go when it first came out but we lived in the middle of nowhere so only got to play when we went to bigger towns.

We've moved to a town now so have both downloaded it again and found we have a pokestop we can reach from our house and 5 gyms in the town 😁

We will be. I think my treat to myself for getting through half term will be a load of pokecoins for remote raid passes. You can only have three at one time, right?

We're prepared for the primal raids this weekend but don't know how achievable they are, my son is telling me they will require at least 10 players. Thanks greatly to those that have helped us by joining remote raids over the past couple of weeks, it's really thrilled my son to actually win raids. My husband keeps saying "thank god for Mumsnet"!

For the primals, I haven't had time to read the thread so not sure if you've mentioned the app Pokegenie, that'll be good for it as you can queue for lobbies with more than 8 people to make it easier to do!
