Blimey, those last 30 or so posts went quickly! Here's a lovely shiny new thread.

@bedlegs , raiding is also much more fun when not on your own even if you don't win. I try to keep at least one remote raid pass for this reason.

@JustLurkingAway , PokeGenie looks interesting. How does it work?

I did a couple of primal groudon ones this evening and we managed it easily with 6

I use PokeRaid every now and then to do raids. Useful for getting new friends too

How has everyone got on with raids today? I'm off work tomorrow so hoping to be out early to do some.

I took part in a couple of raids that I was invited in to by two trainers on this thread, so many thanks for the invites! I think it was the first time I've done remote raids.

I used PokeGenie a couple of times too which was good, although this morning I've joined a couple of raids on there and then trainers have dropped out just before the raid is due to start leaving not enough people to win the raid which is frustrating. Overall though very useful for me as I'm not part of any local groups.

Who else needs one more Kyogre besides me (GalarianPony) ? I have got three remote raid passes. And a question. If someone invites you to a raid, can you then invite further friends to get more people to join?

I don't believe if you've remoted into a raid you can invite more people, only if you're in person

Ah, so if two of you go to a raid and each invite 5 people, that's how you get more than 6 in.

I am trying to understand PokeRaid myself, but I liked all the raids I did with all of you yesterday best. I like the little shaking hands icon 😃.

Just in case you didn't know as well, if you want to invite more than 5 people into the lobby, you can leave it while it's counting down, rejoin and invite up to 5 more people😊

I did not know that at all. Wow. OK. That's really helpful. Because I would rather raid with all of you anyway so if I can invite more of you that's brilliant. In that case, @AllGone , if I disappear when I have invited you, it's because I am trying this technique out 😃.

I read about this yesterday, should make it much easier as it's annoying only being able to invite 5. I haven't tried it out yet but it said something about leaving at 70 seconds as long as someone else is in the lobby, rejoining and then you can add 5 more.

I'm going to meet family who also play at 11:30 and we will be doing some raids, there will be 7 of us and I'll invite as many people that are online as I can.

Sorry I didn't join any yesterday, I was unfortunately at work, so had the game open but knew if I joined a raid then the phone would start ringing and I wouldn't be able to participate.

No worries. I kept getting kicked out of Rayquaza raids for some reason. Right, off to finish research by fighting Arlo.

And I am out of raid passes. I really indulged myself this weekend so now I need to wait until I have earned more PokeCoins to get any more passes Currently, I can invite people to raids, but not join. Thank you all so much for inviting me to so many raids that I ran out of passes. Shiny luck to you all 💐

@ISaySteadyOn It's been such a good weekend hasn't it. I've had such a lucky day today also, we decided to go into town and meet up with a group battling. It was crazy how quick each battle was. I managed to bag a shiny Groudon, Kyogre and Latias, so happy with that. Thank you everyone who joined raids this weekend.

Shiny Kyogre and Latios for me. DS and I caught the Latios in the wild which we were very pleased about.

How did you find a group of people to meet up with to battle? DS and I were lucky enough to go to the UltraBeast event and battling with a load of people physically there was so much fun. We'd like to repeat it but don't know where to find people to do it with.

@ISaySteadyOn I caught my Latias in the wild too, took me 50+ balls.

I joined a discord group for Pokémon go and then my local area. A group meets every Wednesday evening in our town centre to raid plus also during events. There was 19-20 in pretty much every raid which I've never seen before.

DS12 absolutely loved it, so definitely worth a look.

@MidasWhale There's me, DP and DS who play in our house. My sister, her DP and 3 DS's plus we've got friends who play it with their kids. Love meeting up and raiding with them. They had other plans on Sunday though (which is a bit selfish imo ) so we went rogue and had great fun meeting up with a group in our town centre.

Is anyone else having trouble with 'make a new friend' tasks? I need to make 3 for a task and have done that numerous times over but it's just not registering them. 2 friends have also got the same problem.

Hope they fix it soon.
