I've opened a load of gifts apart from Nickname happy because we're about to go best friends and I don't have an egg so just do it when you're ready.

To get the hearts for buddies you don't need to use a poffin to get extra, you can swap to a new one and get the hearts that way.

To @HappyPunky and others who have added me: I’ll open the gifts on both accounts just after 12 CET on this Sunday’s community day. Hopefully that works for all. Got to get that shiny ghastly!
Thanks for the tip on getting the hearts for the buddy HappyPunky! I always forget one can just swap around the buddies.

I'm loving all the photo bombing today! I've had Slowpoke and Krabby so far.
I also had my first long distance raid invite last night and won this Togetic from a raid in Manila in the Philippines! Very exciting, especially as I have been wanting a Togetic for ages.

@pawpee and @Katastrofe I've added you both on HaroldSaxonMSC. It's my second account but I still play every day. There's more chance I'll open the gifts too as I only have a few friends.

I've got 3 more gifts to send then I've completed the friendship one. I went on the previous thread and added a few people.

Do people delete friends who don't seem to be playing or don't engage? If that's not an inappropriate question during the friendship challenge

@HappyPunky I think some people do delete. I have got a couple of people on my friends list who never seem to open or send gifts. I might delete them soon as I have ended up with too many to keep track of. I guess some people just give it a go and then stop playing.

Hello all, can I ask an etiquette question on the stickers? Would you be offended to receive a "bye" sticker? I'm not sure what message they're supposed to be conveying. I don't want recipients to think that I'm not sending any more gifts to them after that one.

I wouldn't be offended but I've been sending some out thinking they're a bit weird.

I think I'm going to flag a few up using their nickname and delete after a few weeks. I've got a few that I sent one gift to and they've not opened it and it's been months.

I always attach a 'Bye!' sticker to gifts from the Iocal cemetery.

TBH, I haven't paid much attention when I've added stickers so apologies if anyone got a bye one and assumed you were PoGo dumped. Not my intention at all.

Loving the Oddish & Krabby spawns today as I've wanted shinies of those for ages! Also took my new gotcha evolve for its first outing today and got a 100% Magikarp which is now a very powerful Gyarados.

There are a few people here who I'm due to turn best friends with in either 1 or 2 days... shall we coordinegg for some time during community day on Sunday? Would 11am BST work?

I've also got some saying we'll go up a friendship level in 3 days. Would they also be ready by Sunday? I'm not sure how the days are calculated.

Someone on here said they put that days date as the friends nickname and took it off when they got a gift, if they’d had no action in a month they deleted them. Thought this was quite a good plan... currently the ones I’m left with are all pretty active.

@Corneliusmurphy I'll do that. There are some that are playing but not opening my gift or sending one and some that seem to have stopped.

@bellabelly I’m so sorry my youngest was playing on my phone! I have told him a billion times to stay away from gifts, but I can see he has been in there and opened the one from you! So both of us lost out
